“God will accept the deeds of whoever has an orphan in his house and he feeds and clothes him and does not hit or hurt him.”

The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, looked at ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) and said: "O ‘Ali, whoever hates you, Allah shall cause him to die the death of infidels, and on the day of Judgement, will ask him to account for his deeds (also)."

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Allah will raise a group of people with faces of light, upon seats of light, wearing garments of light, in the shade of the Throne, at the rank of the prophets – and they are not prophets; and at the rank of the martyrs – and they are not martyrs. So, a man said: Am I from them, O Messenger of Allah? He said: No. Another said: Am I from them, O Messenger of Allah? He said: No. It was said: Who are they, O Messenger of Allah? So, he placed his hand upon the head of `Ali (as) and said: Him and his Shi`a.

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Tuba is for he who sees me. Tuba is for he who sees one who has seen me. Tuba is for he who sees one who has seen one who has seen me. `Ali b. Ibrahim brought this hadith and the hadith al-tayr by this isnad in the book Qurb al-Isnad.

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: He who hates `Ali has declared war on Allah. He who has doubt in `Ali has disbelieved.

I heard the Prophet (s) said: Whoever fasts one day from Rajab out of faith and anticipation, Allah will put seventy trenches between him and the Fire. The width of each trench would be the distance between heaven and Earth.

The Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, performed the dawn prayer, and when he departed his prayer, he approached us with his face, that is dignified for Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He, and then he said: All people, the one who misses the sun, let him adhere to the moon, and the one who misses the moon, let him adhere to Zuhra [1], and the one who misses Zuhra, let him adhere to the Two Farqads [2]. Then the Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, said: I am the Sun, Ali is the Moon, Fatima is the Zuhra and Hasan and Hussain are the two Farqads. So is the Book of Allah; they will not be separated until they come to me at the basin.

“The fasts of Shaban for the welcoming of Ramadan.”

1. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) says, “One who fasts during the month of Ramadan, ends it with charity and goes to prayer-mat after taking ritual bath he would be forgiven before he gets up from the prayer-mat.”

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: “We, the children of Abdul Muttalib are the chiefs of Paradise dwellers; that is I, Ali, Hamza (chief of the martyrs), Ja’far with two wings, Hasan, Husain, and the Mahdi.”

Prophet (sw) said: Jibra’il said: Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, said: Whoever insults My Beloved one has declared war on Me. I do not hesitate in anything like I do when I seize the soul of a believer. He abhors death, and I abhor his evil deeds. However, there is no escape from it. My Servant is never so close to Me as when he fulfils all that I have made obligatory on him. My servant continues to perform superogatory prayers until I star to love him. And when I love him, I become his hearing, his seeing, his hand, and his supporter. When he calls Me, I answer him. And if he asks Me for something, I bestow it upon him.
Verily, among My believing servants is one that intends an act of service, but I prevent him from it so self-admiration does not enter him, as this would lead to his destruction. Among My believing servants is one whose faith will not be proper unless he remains poor, for if I made him wealthy, it would lead to his destruction. Among My believing servants is one whose faith will not be proper unless he is wealthy, for if I made him poor it would lead to his destruction. Among My believing servants is one whose faith will not be proper unless he is ill, for if I made him healthy, it would lead to his destruction. Among My believing servant sis one whose faith would not be proper unless he was healthy, for if I made him ill, it would lead to his destruction. Verily, I mange My Servants though my Knowledge of what is in their hearts. Verily, I am the All-Knowing, the All-informed.

Fatima (sa) did not see blood during menstruation nor in delivery.

`Ali b. Yazid al-Sada’i from Abi Shayba al-Jawhari from Anas b. Malik. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Promise me six things, and I will promise you Paradise: (1) When you speak, do not lie. (2) If you make a promise, do not break it. (3) If you form a trust, then do not betray it. (4) Lower your gaze. (5) Guard your private parts. (6) Withhold your hands and your tongues [from harming others].

Prophet (S) had said: “This matter (the religion) is still prevailing until twelve guardians of Quraysh (pass away).” Then he mentioned the rest of the tradition.

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: If a believer dies, leaving behind one sheet of knowledge, that sheet will be a curtain between him and the Fire on the Day of Resurrection. For every letter written on it, Allah will grant him a city that is seven times wider than this world. A believer does not sit to learn for one moment except that his Lord calls to him, saying: “You have sat to attend to My beloved. By My glory and My majesty! I will have you live in Paradise with it, regardless [of your sins].”

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Obeying the authority (al-sultan) is obligatory. Whoever abandons obedience to the authority has abandoned obedience to Allah and has entered His [realm of] prohibition. Surely, Allah says, “Do not let your own hands throw you into destruction.” (2:195)

The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "O Anas, be always pure and clean, and Allah will increase your years (i.e. lifetime). And if you can remain in the state of purity through the day and the night, then do so; for if you die in the state of purity (Taharat, Wudhoo etc.), you will die a martyr. And be steadfast on the noon prayers, for it is the prayers of those who return to Allah with repentance. And perform as many optional prayers as possible, so that the appointed keepers (Angels) have affection for you. And initiate Salaam upon one you meet, so that Allah augments your good deeds. Greet with Salaam your household, and it will be full of divine blessings. Show veneration to the elder Muslims, and be kind to their young ones, so that when you and I arrive on the Day of Judgement, we come like these two - then he demonstrated by his first two fingers."

We were told by Abu Sa’eed, that he said: We were told by Khirash, that he said: We were told by my master, Anas bin Malik, that he said: The Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, said: If Allah, Exalted is He, removes modesty from a servant, he becomes abhorrent and detested. He then removes faith from him, then removes mercy from him, then pulls off the religion of Islam out of his neck, and he becomes a cursed devil. It means that the performance of a horrid act after another horrid act ends with devilry, and the one who becomes a devil (in challenge) against Allah, is cursed by Allah.

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: We, the Children of `Abd al-Muttalib, are the masters of the people of Paradise: The Messenger of Allah, Hamza the Master of Martyrs, Ja`far the one of two wings, `Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan, al-Husayn, and the Mahdi.

The Prophet (s) said: `Ali will clarify that which my Nation will disagree about after me.
