Muhammad b. `Ali b. Bashar (ra) narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim al-Qattan narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Abdullah al-Hadrami narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Bakr narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Mus`ib narrated to us. He said: Hammad b. Salama narrated to us from Thabit from Anas. He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Obeying the authority (al-sultan) is obligatory. Whoever abandons obedience to the authority has abandoned obedience to Allah and has entered His [realm of] prohibition. Surely, Allah says, “Do not let your own hands throw you into destruction.” (2:195)
20 - حدثنا محمد بن علي بن بشار (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم القطان، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله الحضرمي، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن بكر، قال: حدثنا محمد بن مصعب، قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، عن ثابت، عن أنس، قال
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): طاعة السلطان واجبة، ومن ترك طاعة السلطان فقد ترك طاعة الله عز وجل ودخل في نهيه، إن الله عز وجل يقول: (ولا تلقوا بأيديكم إلى التهلكة) (2).
