14. It was narrated to us by Ahmad b. al-Hassan al-’Attar who said it was narrated to us by Abdulrahman b. Abi Hatim who said it was narrated to us by al-Hajjaj b. Hamzah who said it was narrated to us by Yazid who said I was informed by Sadaqah al-Raqiqi who said it was narrated to us by Thabit from Anas who said
“The fasts of Shaban for the welcoming of Ramadan.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِی حَاتِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَهَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا یَزِیدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِی صَدَقَهُ الرَّفِیقِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَیُّ الصِّیَامِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ شَعْبَانُ تَعْظِیماً لِرَمَضَانَ.
