Hadith.3454 - Muhammad ibn Marwan narrated from Imam (as) who said
"My father, peace be upon him, left sixty slaves and instructed in his will to free one-third of them. So, I cast lots among them and selected twenty, then I freed them."
3454 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ عَنْهُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ : "إِنَّ أَبِي عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ تَرَكَ سِتِّينَ مَمْلُوكاً وَ أَوْصَى بِعِتْقِ ثُلُثِهِمْ فَأَقْرَعْتُ بَيْنَهُمْ فَأَخْرَجْتُ عِشْرِينَ فَأَعْتَقْتُهُمْ".

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from al-Hakam ibn Miskin from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that suffering from fever for one night is expiation (for the sins) before and thereafter.”
10ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِسْكِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
حُمَّى لَيْلَةٍ كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا قَبْلَهَا وَلِمَا بَعْدَهَا.

2. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ali ibn al-Husayn from Sayf ibn ‘Amirah from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following
“Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘What deed is the most beloved to Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy?’ The Imam said, ‘It is your deed of praising Him.’”
2ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) أَيُّ الأعْمَالِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَالَ أَنْ تَحْمَدَهُ.

13. Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Sinan from Muhammad ibn Marwan al-‘Ijli from Ali ibn Hanzala who has said the following.
“(Imam) abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.), said, ‘Note the position of the people from the degree of their narration of Hadith from us.’”
13ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ الْعِجْلِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ اعْرِفُوا مَنَازِلَ النَّاسِ عَلَى قَدْرِ رِوَايَتِهِمْ عَنَّا.

hadith 682
20. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu Nasr from abu Jamifah from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following
“About the case of a woman who is speechless and about how can he go through the process of al- Li‘an (condemnation) against her, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘They must be separated from each other and she is not lawful for him in marriage forever.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فِي الْمَرْأَةِ الْخَرْسَاءِ كَيْفَ يُلَاعِنُهَا زَوْجُهَا قَالَ
يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَهُمَا وَ لَا تَحِلُّ لَهُ أَبَداً .

7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following
“It is of the good fortune of a believing person to have a stumper that he can ride to meet his own needs and the needs of his brothers (in belief).”’

16ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْمِزَاحَ فَإِنَّهُ يَذْهَبُ بِمَاءِ الْوَجْهِ وَمَهَابَةِ الرِّجَالِ.

10. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from ibn Mahbub from ‘Amr ibn abu al-Miqdam from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said that it is in the will of the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, to ’Amir al- Mu’minin that says, ‘You must brush your teeth for every Salat (prayer).”’
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي الْمِقْدَامِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام )
فِي وَصِيَّةِ النَّبِيِّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لِأَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( صلوات الله عليه ) عَلَيْكَ بِالسِّوَاكِ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ .

hadith 803
14. Ali has narrated from his father from ibn Mahbub from Jamil ibn Salih from Muhammad ibn Marwan from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“My father (a.s.) has said, ‘What could be more delightful to me than al-Taqiyyah’, it is a shield for believing people.’”
14ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
كَانَ أَبِي (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ وَأَيُّ شَيْ‏ءٍ أَقَرُّ لِعَيْنِي مِنَ التَّقِيَّةِ إِنَّ التَّقِيَّةَ جُنَّةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ.

hadith 451
Muhammad ibn Marvan said that he asked Imam Sadiq (a.s) about God's statement: “Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know?” It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition!” [The Holy Quran: Zumar 39:9] Imam Sadiq (a.s) replied: “We are the ones who know, and our enemies are the ones who do not know, and our Shiites are those who are endued with understanding.”
عن محمد بن مروان قال
سألت أبا عبد الله (عليه السلام) عن قول الله عز وجل: ﴿هل يستوي الذين يعلمون والذين لا يعلمون إنما يتذكر أولو الألباب﴾ قال: نحن الذين نعلم، وعدونا الذي لا يعلم، وشيعتنا أولوا الألباب.

hadith 741
2. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to us by Abdillah b. Ja’far al-Himyari from Muhammad b. al-Hassan b. Abi al-Khattab from al-Hakam b. Miskeen from Muhammad b. Marwan from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“Having fever for a night compensates for past and future sins.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْیَرِیُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَکَمِ بْنِ مِسْکِینٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
حُمَّی لَیْلَهٍ کَفَّارَهٌ لِمَا قَبْلَهَا وَ لِمَا بَعْدَهَا.

11. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from Aban from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has narrated the following
“The Shaykh (a.s.), has said that abu Ja‘far (a.s.), died and left sixty slaves of whom he set free one-third and I determined such slaves by raffle and took the one-third away.’”
11- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنِ الشَّيْخِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَنَّ
أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ سِتِّينَ مَمْلُوكاً فَأَعْتَقَ ثُلُثَهُمْ فَأَقْرَعْتُ بَيْنَهُمْ وَأَخْرَجْتُ الثُّلُثَ.

hadith 532
Hadith.5503 - Aban ibn Uthman narrated from Muhammad ibn Marwan from the Shaykh, meaning Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as), from his father, Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as), peace be upon them both, that Imam (as) said
"Indeed, Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as), passed away and left sixty servants. He freed one-third of them, then I drew lots among the remaining ones and freed another one-third."
5503 - وَ رَوَى أَبَانُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنِ اَلشَّيْخِ يَعْنِي مُوسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ : "إِنَّ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ مَاتَ وَ تَرَكَ سِتِّينَ مَمْلُوكاً فَأَعْتَقَ ثُلُثَهُمْ فَأَقْرَعْتُ بَيْنَهُمْ وَ أَعْتَقْتُ اَلثُّلُثَ".

28. Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Yahya ibn ‘Imran al-Halabiy from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following
“I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘One who recites Adhan receives forgiveness for the sins as big as the space his voice fills and everything hearing him bears witness to this fact.’” (Ahadith 9-28 are best expressed in the form of fatwa.)
28ـ مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عِمْرَانَ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) يَقُولُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ مَدَى صَوْتِهِ وَيَشْهَدُ لَهُ كُلُّ شَيْ‏ءٍ سَمِعَهُ.

15. Abu Ali al-Ash’ari has narrated from Muhammad ibn Salim from Ahmad ibn al- Nadr from Muhammad ibn Marwan in a marfu’ manner from Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) who has said the following
“Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) has said, ‘Whoever upon sneezing says, “All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds, in all conditions, will not suffer from pain in his ears and teeth.”’”
15ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) مَنْ قَالَ إِذَا عَطَسَ الْحَمْدُ لله رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ لَمْ يَجِدْ وَجَعَ الأذُنَيْنِ وَالأضْرَاسِ.

12. Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā narrated from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, from al-‘Abbās ibn Ma‘rūf, from Ḥammād ibn ‘Īsā, from al-Haytham, from Muḥammad ibn Marwān, who said that Abū Ja‘far (AS) said to me
'Seek a wet nurse for your child from among the beautiful women, and avoid the ugly ones, for the milk can have an influence.'

قَالَ لِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) اسْتَرْضِعْ لِوَلَدِكَ بِلَبَنِ الْحِسَانِ وَ إِيَّاكَ وَ الْقِبَاحَ فَإِنَّ اللَّبَنَ قَدْ يُعْدِي .

hadith 135
135. It has been reported that Muhammad ibn Marwan said that one of the two (al-Baqir or al-Sadiq) (a.s) had said
If a person goes a distance to help his Muslim brother, ten good deeds are written for him, ten misdeeds are erased from him, he is elevated ten degrees, and it is equal in reward to freeing ten slaves. In addition, it is better than performing i'tikaf in the Sacred Mosque whilst fasting.
135- عن محمد بن مروان عن أحدهما عليهما السلام قال
مشي الرجل في حاجة أخيه المسلم تكتب له عشر حسنات، وتمحى عنه عشر سيئات، ويرفع له عشر درجات ويعدل عشر رقاب، وأفضل من اعتكاف شهر في المسجد الحرام و صيامه

9. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn al-Nadr from Muhammad ibn Marwan in a marfu‘ manner to them about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Gracious
“You are not supposed to trouble the Prophet (in the matters of Ali and the Imam (a.s.) .(33:53) .” “. .like those who annoyed Moses. God proved him to be innocent of what they had said about him. .” (33:70).”
9ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ رَفَعَهُ إِلَيْهِمْ فِي قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَما
كانَ لَكُمْ أَنْ تُؤْذُوا رَسُولَ الله فِي عَلِيٍّ وَالائِمَّةِ كَالَّذِينَ آذَوْا مُوسى‏ فَبَرَّأَهُ الله مِمَّا قالُوا.

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to us by Abdillah b. Ja’far al-Himyari from Ahmad b. Muhammad from his father from Fadhalah b. Ayoob’ from Sayf b. ’Umayra from Muhammad b. Marwan from Zurarah who said
Zurarah narrates that he asked Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.), “What deed Allah likes best?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “His glorification.”

12. Ḥasan ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā narrated to me from his father, from Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb, from Sabbāḥ Al-Ḥadhā, from Muḥammad ibn Marwān, who said
I heard Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) say: Go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) even if it is only once a year.
12 حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ صَبَّاحٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ زُورُوا قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) وَ لَوْ كُلَّ سَنَةٍ مَرَّةً وَ ذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
