Hadith.3368 - Uqbah ibn Khalid narrated from Abu Abdillah (as): "The Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) ruled in favor of preemption (shufah) between partners in lands and houses, and He (sw) said
'There is no harm and no harming (la darar wa la dirar).'"
3368 - وَ رَوَى عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"قَضَى رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ بِالشُّفْعَةِ بَيْنَ اَلشُّرَكَاءِ فِي اَلْأَرَضِينَ وَ اَلْمَسَاكِنِ وَ قَالَ "لاَ ضَرَرَ وَ لاَ إِضْرَارَ" ".

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hajjal from Dawud ibn abu Yazid and Tha’Labah and Ali ibn ‘Aqabah from certain individuals who narrated to him from one of the two Imam (a.s.) who has said the following
“Restraint from associating people brings in their animosity.”
5ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ وَثَعْلَبَةَ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ بَعْضِ مَنْ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيهِما السَّلام) قَالَ
الإنْقِبَاضُ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَكْسَبَةٌ لِلْعَدَاوَةِ.

8. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from the woman of al-Hassan al-Sayqal who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that it is not advisable to cry loudly for a deceased or teardown one’s clothes.”
8ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنِ امْرَأَةِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّيْقَلِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
لاَ يَنْبَغِي الصِّيَاحُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ وَلاَ شَقُّ الثِّيَابِ.

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah, from his father from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘Sulayman son of Dawud (Solomon son of David) performed Hajj along with Jinn, man, bird and wind, wearing a Coptic gown.’”
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) أَنَّ
سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ دَاوُدَ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ فِي الْجِنِّ وَالإِنْسِ وَالطَّيْرِ وَالرِّيَاحِ وَكَسَا الْبَيْتَ الْقَبَاطِيَّ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqba from Ayyub ibn Rashid from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following.
“Of Hadith whatever does not agree with the holy Quran is a useless statement.”

مَا لَمْ يُوَافِقْ مِنَ الْحَدِيثِ الْقُرْآنَ فَهُوَ زُخْرُفٌ.

الْكِبْرُ أَنْ تَغْمِصَ النَّاسَ وَتَسْفَهَ الْحَقَّ.

9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from abu al-Hassan, the first (a.s.), who has said the following
“If one pays, completely, the amount of zakat which is due on his wealth to the proper recipient, he is not asked how he has earned his wealth.”
9ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) يَعْنِي الأوَّلَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَخْرَجَ زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ تَامَّةً فَوَضَعَهَا فِي مَوْضِعِهَا لَمْ يُسْأَلْ مِنْ أَيْنَ اكْتَسَبَ مَالَهُ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from abu Kahmas who has said the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Pulling out the hairs of the underarms weakens the shoulders.’ Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), applied lime paste as a hair remover.’”

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) نَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ يُضْعِفُ الْمَنْكِبَيْنِ وَ كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَطْلِي إِبْطَهُ .

20. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl, from Sāliḥ ibn ‘Uqbah, from Zayd Al-Shaḥḥām, who said
I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.)?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “They are like those who perform the Ziyārah of Allāh on His Throne.”
20 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) قَالَ كَمَنْ زَارَ اللَّهَ فِي عَرْشِهِ

12. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from his father who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Looking is an arrow of the poisoned arrows of Satan, and there are many such arrows that cause regret for a long time.’”
12- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ النَّظَرُ سَهْمٌ مِنْ سِهَامِ إِبْلِيسَ مَسْمُومٌ وَكَمْ مِنْ نَظْرَةٍ أَوْرَثَتْ حَسْرَةً طَوِيلَةً.

4. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from his father who has narrated the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who makes a will about a box with assets in it for a man. The heirs say that only the box belongs to him and not its contents. He (the Imam) said, ‘The box and its contents belong to him.”’
4- عَنْهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَوْصَى لِرَجُلٍ بِصُنْدُوقٍ وَكَانَ فِي الصُّنْدُوقِ مَالٌ فَقَالَ الْوَرَثَةُ إِنَّمَا لَكَ الصُّنْدُوقُ وَلَيْسَ لَكَ مَا فِيهِ فَقَالَ الصُّنْدُوقُ بِمَا فِيهِ لَهُ.

9. Ahmad ibn Idris has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad from Ya’qub ibn Yazid from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah who has said the following
“Once abu al-Hassan (a.s.), saw me, in al-Madinah when I performed Salah (prayer). I bent down my head and stretched in my Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees). He (the Imam) sent me a message that said, ‘You must not do so (when you are in Ruku‘).’” (Ahadith 2-9 are best explained in the form of fatwa.)
9ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ
رَآنِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي وَأَنْكُسُ بِرَأْسِي وَأَتَمَدَّدُ فِي رُكُوعِي فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ لاَ تَفْعَلْ.

Hadith.5344 - Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Hilal narrated from Uqbah ibn Khalid, from Abu Abdullah (as), who said
"Among the rulings of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) was: 'There is no liability (Jubar) for injuries caused by a mine, a well, or an animal.'"
5344 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"كَانَ مِنْ قَضَاءِ اَلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ "أَنَّ اَلْمَعْدِنَ جُبَارٌ وَ اَلْبِئْرَ جُبَارٌ وَ اَلْعَجْمَاءَ جُبَارٌ" ".

4. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from certain persons of his people from Ibrahim ibn ‘Uqbah in a marfu manner has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’Wiping one’s hands with a towel after wudu (washing) removes troubles and increases sustenance.’”
الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
مَسْحُ الْوَجْهِ بَعْدَ الْوُضُوءِ يَذْهَبُ بِالْكَلَفِ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي الرِّزْقِ .

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has made this pronouncement: ‘The least of squandering is throwing away the remaining water in a bowl, misuse of protective clothes and throwing away of nutlets.”’

12. Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Bandar has narrated from his father from Muhammad ibn Ali al-Hamadaniy from Sa‘id al-Raqqam from Salih ibn ‘Uqbah who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Eat pomegranate with its flesh; it tans (cleans) the stomach and increases the brain’s ability.’”

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ كُلُوا الرُّمَّانَ بِشَحْمِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يَدْبُغُ الْمَعِدَةَ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي الذِّهْنِ .

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from abu Kahmas who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who because of forgetfulness made eight times Tawaf (walking around the House). He (the Imam) said, ‘If he remembers before reaching the corner he must stop it (the last round of walking around al-Ka’bah).”’
10ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي كَهْمَسٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنْ رَجُلٍ نَسِيَ فَطَافَ ثَمَانِيَةَ أَشْوَاطٍ قَالَ إِنْ ذَكَرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَبْلُغَ الرُّكْنَ فَلْيَقْطَعْهُ.

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hajjal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“The believer is the brother (in belief) of the believer, his eyes and his guide. He does not violate his trust, does not do injustice to him, does not deceive him and does not promise him only to ignore it later on.’”
8ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ أَخُو الْمُؤْمِنِ عَيْنُهُ وَدَلِيلُهُ لا يَخُونُهُ وَلا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلا يَغُشُّهُ وَلا يَعِدُهُ عِدَةً فَيُخْلِفَهُ.
