hadith 132
31-132 According to the same documentation, Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) said, “Talha ibn Obaydillah went to see God’s Prophet (S). There was a quince in the Prophet’s (a.s.) hand. The Prophet (S) gave it to him and said, “O Aba Muhammad (Talha)! Take this since it will relieve the heart.”
132 - وَبِهذَا الإِسنادِ عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْنِ أَبِي طالِبٍ‏ عَلَيْهِالسَّلامُ قالَ
دَخَلَ طَلحَةُ بْنُ عُبِيْدِ اللَّهِ عَلى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَفِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ سَفَرجَلَةٌ قَدْ جاءَ بِها إِلَيْهِ؛ وَقالَ: خُذها يا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ فَإِنَّها تُجِمُّ القَلْبً.

Hadith.4184 - Al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar narrated from Al-Husayn ibn Ubayd Allah (swt) who said
I said to Abu Abdillah (as), "We are in the mountains and we send the shepherds to the sheep. Sometimes a sheep is injured or something happens to it, and they slaughter it. Can we eat it?" Imam (as) said: "No, for it is a matter of proper slaughtering, and only a Muslim can be trusted with it."
4184 - وَ رَوَى اَلْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ اَلْمُخْتَارِ عَنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اَللَّهِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ إِنَّا نَكُونُ بِالْجَبَلِ فَنَبْعَثُ اَلرُّعَاةَ إِلَى اَلْغَنَمِ فَرُبَّمَا عَطِبَتِ اَلشَّاةُ وَ أَصَابَهَا شَيْءٌ فَذَبَحُوهَا فَنَأْكُلُهَا قَالَ "لاَ إِنَّمَا هِيَ اَلذَّبِيحَةُ فَلاَ يُؤْمَنُ عَلَيْهَا إِلاَّ اَلْمُسْلِمُ ".

4. Ja’far ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh Al-Mūsawi narrated to me from ‘Abdillāh ibn Nahīk, from Ibn Abī ‘Umayr, from Ḥammād, from Al-Ḥalabi, who said
I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) about the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.). Imam (a.s.) said, “(Go) once a year because I do not want you to be identified.”
4 حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُوسَوِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ [عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ] بْنِ نَهِيكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ص) قَالَ فِي السَّنَةِ مَرَّةً إِنِّي أَكْرَهُ الشُّهْرَةَ

hadith 156
Hadith.3299 - And it was narrated from Ubaydullah ibn Ali Al-Halabi who said
I asked Abu Abdullah (as), whether the testimony of the People of the Book (Ahl al-Dhimmah) is valid against those not of their religion. Imam (as) said: "Yes, if witnesses from their own religion cannot be found, then the testimony of others is valid, for it is not right for anyone's rights to be lost."
3299 - وَ رُوِيَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ اَلْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ هَلْ تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ أَهْلِ اَلذِّمَّةِ عَلَى غَيْرِ أَهْلِ مِلَّتِهِمْ قَالَ "نَعَمْ إِنْ لَمْ يُوجَدْ مِنْ أَهْلِ مِلَّتِهِمْ جَازَتْ شَهَادَةُ غَيْرِهِمْ إِنَّهُ لاَ يَصْلُحُ ذَهَابُ حَقِّ أَحَدٍ".

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Dihqan from Durust from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that once a man complained before the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, about loneliness and fear. He (the Messenger of Allah) commanded him to keep a pair of pigeons in his house.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
شَكَا رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْوَحْشَةَ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ فِي بَيْتِهِ زَوْجَ حَمَامٍ .

5. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Dihqan from Musa ibn Ibrahim who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about selling grass and pastures. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful, the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, had reserved al-Naqi‘ (name of a place) for the horses of the Muslims.’”
5- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْكَلإ وَالْمَرَاعِي فَقَالَ لا بَأْسَ بِهِ قَدْ حَمَى رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) النَّقِيعَ لِخَيْلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.

566. Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Ubeydullah Bin Ahmad Al-Dahqaan, from Ali Bin Al-Hassan Al-Tatary, from Muhammad Bin Ziyad Al-Sabiry, from Ajlaan Abu Salih who said
‘I heard Abu Abdullah (asws) saying: ‘Ali (asws) Bin Abu Talib (as) killed forty by his (asws) hands on the Day of Hunain’.
حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الطَّاطَرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ بَيَّاعِ السَّابِرِيِّ عَنْ عَجْلَانَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) يَقُولُ قَتَلَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ (عليه السلام) بِيَدِهِ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ أَرْبَعِينَ.

hadith 254
(15) Ali bin Ahmad narrated from Obaydillah bin Musa from Muhammad bin al-Husayn from Safwan bin Yahya that Abul Hasan ar-Redha (as) had said
“By Allah, That, which you look forward to, will not be until you are tested and clarified and until none of you remains save the least and the least.”
15 - وأخبرنا علي بن أحمد قال: حدثنا عبيد الله بن موسى، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسين، عن صفوان بن يحيى قال
قال أبو الحسن الرضا: والله لا يكون ما تمدّون إليه أعينكم حتى تمحصوا وتميزوا، وحتى لا يبقى منكم إلاّ الأندر فالأندر.

Hadith.486 – Zurarah and Ubaidullah ibn Ali Al-Halabi narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that He was asked about when the funeral prayer should be offered for a child. Imam (as) replied: "When the child understands the concept of prayer." I asked: "
At what age does prayer become obligatory for the child?" Imam (as) replied: "When the child reaches six years old, and fasting becomes obligatory when they are capable of it."
486 - وَ رَوَى زُرَارَةُ وَ عُبَيْدُ اَللَّهِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ اَلْحَلَبِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ اَلصَّلاَةِ عَلَى اَلصَّبِيِّ مَتَى يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ
«إِذَا عَقَلَ اَلصَّلاَةَ» فَقُلْتُ مَتَى تَجِبُ اَلصَّلاَةُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ «إِذَا كَانَ اِبْنَ سِتِّ سِنِينَ وَ اَلصِّيَامُ إِذَا أَطَاقَهُ.

7. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from Hassan ibn Jahm from abu al-Yaqdan from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn al- Walid who has said the following
“I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘With the existence of three factors nothing can harm one. These factors include: prayer in difficulties, asking forgiveness in sins and thankfulness for bounties.’”
7ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ حَسَنِ بْنِ جَهْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْيَقْظَانِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ الله بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ ثَلاثٌ لا يَضُرُّ مَعَهُنَّ شَيْ‏ءٌ الدُّعَاءُ عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ وَالإسْتِغْفَارُ عِنْدَ الذَّنْبِ وَالشُّكْرُ عِنْدَ النِّعْمَةِ.

7. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from Muhammad ibn ’Ubayd Allah who has said the following
“I once asked al-Rida’ (a.s.), about the case of the Black Stone if it is permissible for people to fight, so that they can touch it. He (the Imam) said, ‘If that becomes the case then just make a gesture toward it with your hand.’”
7ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ الله قَالَ
سُئِلَ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ الْحَجَرِ الأَسْوَدِ وَهَلْ يُقَاتَلُ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ إِذَا كَثُرُوا قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ كَذَلِكَ فَأَوْمِ إِلَيْهِ إِيمَاءً بِيَدِكَ.

5. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ja‘far ibn Muhammad ibn Yasar from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Dihqan from Durust who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘When a stumper stumbles and man riding it says, ‘May you be destroyed.’ The stumper says, ‘May the one of us who is most disobedient to the Lord be destroyed.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِذَا عَثَرَتِ الدَّابَّةُ تَحْتَ الرَّجُلِ فَقَالَ لَهَا تَعَسْتِ تَقُولُ تَعَسَ أَعْصَانَا لِلرَّبِّ.

14. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ja’far ibn Muhammad ibn Bashir from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn al-Dihqan from Drust from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Whoever read al-Hakum al-Takathur Chapter 102 of the Holy Quran at bedtime will be safe from the mischief of the grave.’”
14ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ الله بْنِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) مَنْ قَرَأَ أَلْهَيكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ وُقِيَ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ.

The Straight Path is the Commander of the Believers, Ali, peace be upon him.
حدثنا أبي - رحمه الله - قال: حدثنا محمد بن أحمد بن علي بن الصلت، [عن عبد الله بن الصلت] عن يونس بن عبد الرحمن، عمن ذكره، عن عبيد الله [بن] الحلبي، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال
الصراط المستقيم أمير المؤمنين علي عليه السلام.

By this isnad from Ibrahim b. al-Hakam from `Ubaydullah b. Musa from `Abd al-`Aziz b. Sayyah from Habib b. Abi Thabit from `Ata’ b. Yasar from `A’isha. She said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: `Ammar b. Yasir is not given a choice between two things except that he chooses the more challenging of them.
9 - وبهذا الاسناد، عن إبراهيم بن الحكم، عن عبيد الله بن موسى، عن عبد العزيز بن سياه، عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت، عن عطاء بن يسار، عن عائشة، قالت
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): ما خير عمار بن ياسر بين أمرين إلا اختار أشدهما (2).

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Halabiy and Muhammad ibn Muslim who has narrated the following
“We once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the charities of the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, and the charities of Fatimah, ‘Alayha al-Salam. He (the Imam) said, ‘Their charities are for banu Hashim and banu al-Muttalib.’”
2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْحَلَبِيِّ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالا
سَأَلْنَاهُ عَنْ صَدَقَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) وَصَدَقَةِ فَاطِمَةَ (عَلَيْهِا السَّلام) قَالَ صَدَقَتُهُمَا لِبَنِي هَاشِمٍ وَبَنِي الْمُطَّلِبِ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Dihqan from Durust from Ibrahim ibn ‘ Abd al-Hamid who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘Seven things in sheep are unlawful for food. Of such things is blood, testicles, penis, bladder, glands, spleen and gallbladder.”’
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
حُرِّمَ مِنَ الشَّاةِ سَبْعَةُ أَشْيَاءَ الدَّمُ وَ الْخُصْيَتَانِ وَ الْقَضِيبُ وَ الْمَثَانَةُ وَ الْغُدَدُ وَ الطِّحَالُ وَ الْمَرَارَةُ .

5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Dihqan from Durust from Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Awwal (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, ate melons with sugar. He (the Messenger of Allah) ate melons with fresh dates.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
أَكَلَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْبِطِّيخَ بِالسُّكَّرِ وَ أَكَلَ الْبِطِّيخَ بِالرُّطَبِ .

3. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Nasr from Muhammad ibn ‘Ubayd Allah who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan al-Rida (a.s.) has said, ‘A man who maintains good relations with his relatives, if he may have only three years to live, Allah, because of his good relations with relatives, will prolong his life up to thirty years; Allah does whatever He wants.’”
3ـ وَعَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ الله قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَكُونُ الرَّجُلُ يَصِلُ رَحِمَهُ فَيَكُونُ قَدْ بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ ثَلاثُ سِنِينَ فَيُصَيِّرُهَا الله ثَلاثِينَ سَنَةً وَيَفْعَلُ الله مَا يَشَاءُ.

(31) Ali bin Ahmad narrated from Obaydillah bin Musa al-Alawi from Muhammad bin al-Husayn bin Abul Khattab from Muhammad bin Sinan from Abul Jarood that Abu Ja’far al-Baqir (as) had said
“People are still (confused and distressed) expecting until Allah sends for this matter (deliverance) one that people have not known whether he has been created yet or not.”
31 - حدثنا علي بن أحمد، عن عبيد الله بن موسى العلوي، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب، عن محمد بن سنان، عن أبي الجارود، قال
سمعت أبا جعفر يقول: لا يزالون ولا تزال حتى يبعث الله لهذا الأمر مَن لا يدرون خُلق أم لم يخلق.
