5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Dihqan from Durust from Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Awwal (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, ate melons with sugar. He (the Messenger of Allah) ate melons with fresh dates.’”
