"He saw Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as), eating while sitting cross-legged."

The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Faith has about seventy branches, the best of them is the statement: “There is no god but Allah”, and the lowest of them is to remove obstacles from the path. And chastity is a branch of faith.

Hadith.5774 - The Prophet (sw) said; "Youth is a branch of madness (irrationality)."

The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Youth is a branch of madness.

The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Youth is a branch of folly.

And whatever is narrated from Umar ibn Abi Shuʿbah, I have narrated it from Muhammad ibn Ali Majilawayh - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Yahya, from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn ibn Abi Al-Khaṭṭab, from Jafar ibn Bashir, from Hammad ibn Uthman, from Umar ibn Abi Shuʿbah Al-Halabi.

405. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, heard ‘Ammār ibn Yāsir (may Allāh have mercy on him) conversing with al-Mughīrah ibn Shu‘bah and said:

The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Whoever dies, having neither waged a campaign nor having intended to do so, dies on a branch of hypocrisy [in his heart].

"I saw Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) eating while reclining. Then Imam (as) mentioned the Messenger of Allah (swt), peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and said: 'He never ate while reclining until he passed away.' "

"Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "A woman touching her daughter in an inappropriate manner once she has reached six years of age is a form of indecency (a branch of fornication)."

The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny said: "Whoever doubts the excellence of ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him, will rise from his grave on the Day of Reckoning, with a collar of fire around his neck, having three hundred prongs. On each prong, there will be a Satan frowning upon him, spitting at his face."

Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘And this is the house by which Allah has demanded the devotion of His creatures to test their obedience in their coming to it, so He prompted them to glorify it and visit it. He made it the station of the prophets and the focal point (qibla) for those who pray to Him. It is a branch of His good pleasure and a way that leads to His forgiveness, founded on absolute perfection and ultimate grandeur.

“Whenever God’s Prophet (MGB) was with me, he (MGB) said two units of prayers after saying the afternoon prayers.”

Prophet (S) had said: “This religion is still prevailing until twelve caliphs will have ruled.” Then he said something that I could not understand. I asked my father and he said that the Prophet (S) had said: “All of them are from Quraysh.”

“Indeed the best deeds in the Opinion of God are praying, kindness and participating in a holy war.”

The Children of Adam (people) will get old or die, but two things still remain young in them: greed and aspirations.”

Abu Dharr (rh) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah! [What do you say regarding] a man who works for himself and gains the love of the people? He said: That is of the immediate glad tidings of the believer.

Abu Dharr, upon whom is the mercy of Allah, said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, a man would act for himself and the people would leave him. He said: That is the hasting good news for a believer.

I went to Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) and I recited a eulogy about Ḥusain (a.s.) for him. When I reached this verse: What a great disaster! Instead of scattering dust over Ḥusain, he was rolled in the dust! A woman who was crying from behind the curtain screamed, “O father!!!!!”

(On the behaviour and action of a Ruler:) Then, do not keep yourself secluded from the people for a long time, because the seclusion of those in authority from the subjects is a kind of narrow-sightedness and causes ignorance about their affairs. Seclusion from them also prevents them from the knowledge of those things which they do not know and as a result they begin to regard big matters as small and small matters as big, good matters as bad and bad matters as good, while the truth becomes confused with falsehood. After all, a governor is a human being and cannot have knowledge of things which people keep hidden from him. There are no marks on the face of truth to differentiate its various expressions from falsehood.
