3. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Ibn Abī ‘Umayr, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ḥassān, from Ibn Abī Shu’bah (Al-Ḥalabi), from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ghālib, who said
I went to Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) and I recited a eulogy about Ḥusain (a.s.) for him. When I reached this verse: What a great disaster! Instead of scattering dust over Ḥusain, he was rolled in the dust! A woman who was crying from behind the curtain screamed, “O father!!!!!”
3 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنِ [ابْنِ] أَبِي شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) فَأَنْشَدْتُهُ مَرْثِيَةَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَلَمَّا انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ- لَبَلِيَّةٌ تَسْقُوا حُسَيْناً * * * بِمِسْقَاةِ الثَّرَى غَيْرُ التُّرَابِ فَصَاحَتْ بَاكِيَةٌ مِنْ وَرَاءِ السِّتْرِ وَا أَبَتَاهْ
