Hadith.4181 - And in the narration of Abdul Malik bin Amr, from Abu Abdullah (as), he said: "I asked him, 'What do you say about the slaughtered animals of the Christians?' Imam (as) said: 'There is no harm in them.' I said: 'But they mention the name of the Messiah over them.' Imam (as) replied: 'They only mean Allah (swt), the Exalted, by the Messiah.'"

Hadith.3820 - In the narration of Abdul-Malik ibn Amr from Abu Abdillah (as): "He must return her and also return half a tenth of her price if she is pregnant."

I said to Abu Abdillah (as), "I purchase one hundred containers of oil, and I inspect one or two containers and weigh them, then take the rest based on that measurement." Imam (as) said: "There is no harm."

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), said to me, ‘O ‘Abd al-Malik, how is it that I do not see you go to these places where the people of your town go?’ I then asked, ‘Which places do you mean?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘To Juddah, ‘Abadan, al-Massisah and Qazwin.’ I then said, ‘I wait for your cause to materialize and follow you.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘That by Allah is true. If there was anything good in it they could not arrive there before us.’ He (the narrator) has that he then said to him, ‘Al-Zaydiyah group says, ‘There is no difference between us and Ja‘far, except that he does not think Jihad is necessary.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Do I not consider it necessary? By Allah, I do consider it necessary but I dislike leaving my knowledge in their ignorance.’”

“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about food that I buy and I measure it when someone witnesses my measuring but I measure it for myself. He then says, ‘Sell it to me.’ I then sell it to him by means of the same measurement that I made for myself. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.”’

“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about buying a hundred Rawiyah (a certain unit of measurement) of oil, then weigh one or two Rawiyah then accept the rest according to such weighing. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.’”

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about what is permissible for a man to enjoy with his wife during her experiencing Hayd (menses). He (the Imam) said, ‘Everything except her vulva.’ He (the Imam) then said, ‘A Woman is just like a doll for man.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), once, read this verse from the Holy Quran. . those who do not spend excessively or with severe austerity, but with moderation,’ (25: 67) he (the Imam) then picked up a handful of pebbles and kept them firmly in his hand, saying, ‘This is severe austerity that Allah has mentioned in His book.’ He then picked up another handful of pebbles and then opened his hand altogether saying, ‘This is excessive spending.’ He then picked up a handful of pebbles, opened his hand half-way, and held some of the pebbles in his hand, saying, ‘This is moderation.’”

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man whose wife experiences Hayd (menses) and of what he can enjoy with her. He (the Imam) said, ‘He can enjoy everything except her front organ exactly.’”

“I saw abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), leveled the pebbles when he wanted to perform Sujud (prostration).”

“He once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous). He (the Imam) said, ‘Perform al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous).’ It happened that he (the Imam) that year or next year performed Mufrid kind of al-Hajj and I asked him saying , ‘I pray to Allah to keep you well, I asked you about al-Hajj and you instructed me to perform al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous); and I see you perform Mufrid kind of al-Hajj.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘By Allah, goodness is in the kind of al-Hajj I told you to perform. I however, have become weak and performing Tawaf twice between al-Safa’ and al-Marwah, thus, I made it Mufrid kind of al-Hajj.’”
