“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Divorce three times in non-waiting period (without waiting period) if she is clean from Hayd (menses) counts as one, but if she is not clean of Hayd (menses) then it (divorce) does not have any valid effect.’”

I heard Abal Ḥasan the First (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) say: Those who cannot come to our Ziyārah should go to the Ziyārah of our righteous followers so that the reward for coming to our Ziyārah is registered for them. And those who cannot connect with us (directly) should connect with our righteous followers so that the reward for connecting with us is registered for them.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If a man divorces his wife before going to bed with her, she becomes stranger to him and she can marry if she wants in the same hour after divorce. If mahr (dower) is set, she deserves one-half of it but if mahr (dower) is not set he must benefit her.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Divorce of a pregnant woman is one and her waiting period is childbirth, if it is the nearer of the two.’”

The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said Allah, Most High, says: "Grace and Blessing are My gift to My believing servant. If he accepts them, that is My mercy and from Me. And if he rejects them, that is because of his sins which deprive him; and it is his doing and not Mine. And I have guided every creature to Faith, and fashioned him in a shapely manner. And I never made him a victim of miserliness, for I always wished him good."

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When a woman receives the news of the death of her husband, she must begin counting her waiting period and mourning for him.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If a man divorces his wife before going to bed with her with one divorce, she becomes stranger to him in the same hour after divorce. She can marry someone if she wants.’”

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Divorce according to Sunnah is the divorce which one pronounces once in a menses-free period during which sexual intercourse has not taken place. It is pronounced in the presence of two witnesses and leaves her until her menses-free period is over. When this period is over she becomes stranger to him and he is one of those who may propose marriage; if he likes he can marry or not marry. If he decides to go back to his wife there must be a witness to bear witness to his going back to his wife before her menses-free period is over so that she remains with him within the first divorce/ He (the narrator) has said that abu Basir narrated from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), who stated this about the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious. ‘Divorce is twice, thereafter one must keep her in proper manner or in kindness allow her to go/ (2:229) He (the Imam) has said that it is the second divorce and allowing with kindness to go/”

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Verily the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) is the best of deeds.

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) said, “I am the Martyr of Tears.”

Abul Ḥasan, Mūsā (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) said: The minimum reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) by the shores of the Euphrates (River) while knowing his rights and believing in his sanctity and Wilāyah is that all of their past and future sins will be forgiven.

“About the case of a woman whose husband dies before going to bed with her, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘She deserves one-half of mahr (dower), complete inheritance and she must count the waiting period.’”

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘A woman divorced three times does not have the right to ask for her maintenance from her husband. Such right becomes due on a husband who has the right to go back to her.’”

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) and do not be disinclined to it. Verily he is the Master of the Youth of Paradise from among the creation and he is the Master of the Martyrs.

I heard Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) say: Make the first thing which is rubbed on the palate of your (newborn) babies the clay of (the grave of) Ḥusain (a.s.), for verily it is protection.

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Verily owls fast during the day and after they break their fast, they are extremely bewildered with grief over Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) until morning.

“I once asked al-‘Askariy, Alayhi al-Salam, in al-Madinah about the case of a man who has made a will to spend in the way of Allah. He (the Imam) said, ‘In the way of Allah is our Shi ’ah (followers).”’

Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: There are four thousand angels who are disheveled and covered with dust, and they cry over Ḥusain (a.s.) (and will continue to do so) until the Day of Judgment.

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: The heavens have never wept over anyone other than Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) and Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyā (a.s.).

Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: Verily (the reward for going to) the Ziyārah of the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) is equal to performing a purified Hajj with the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.).
