3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah ibn Mehran who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not proper to drink water with bowl made of gold or silver.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
لَا يَنْبَغِي الشُّرْبُ فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَ لَا الْفِضَّةِ .

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah, who has said the following
“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about a man who because of forgetfulness when fasting in the month of Ramadan eats and drinks. He (the Imam) said, ‘He is not required to complete its Qada’ (compensatory fast).”’
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ صَامَ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَأَكَلَ وَشَرِبَ نَاسِياً قَالَ يُتِمُّ صَوْمَهُ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ قَضَاؤُهُ.

Hadith.5435 - Hammad ibn ʿIsa narrated from Ribʿi ibn Abdullah from Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) regarding the testimony of a woman who was present when a man was making a will, and there was no man with her. Imam (as) said
"Her testimony is accepted for one-fourth of the will."
5435 - وَ رَوَى حَمَّادُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : فِي شَهَادَةِ اِمْرَأَةٍ حَضَرَتْ رَجُلاً يُوصِي لَيْسَ مَعَهَا رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ
"تُجَازُ فِي رُبُعِ اَلْوَصِيَّةِ".

Hadith.4863 - Ḥammad ibn ʿIsa narrated from Abu Abdullah (as), who said
I asked him, "If a free woman is married to a slave, how many divorces can he pronounce against her?" He (as) replied: "Ali (as) said: 'Divorce and the waiting period (ʿiddah) are determined according to the status of the women.'"
4863 - وَ رَوَى حَمَّادُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ إِذَا كَانَتِ اَلْحُرَّةُ تَحْتَ اَلْعَبْدِ كَمْ يُطَلِّقُهَا فَقَالَ "قَالَ عَلِيٌّ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ "اَلطَّلاَقُ وَ اَلْعِدَّةُ بِالنِّسَاءِ " ".

Hadith.1917 - Hammad ibn Isa narrated from Isma'il ibn al-Hurr, from Abu Abdullah (as), who said
"If the crescent sets before twilight, it is for one night. If it sets after twilight, it is for two nights."
1917 - وَ رَوَى حَمَّادُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ اَلْحُرِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
«إِذَا غَابَ اَلْهِلاَلُ قَبْلَ اَلشَّفَقِ فَهُوَ لِلَيْلَةٍ وَ إِذَا غَابَ بَعْدَ اَلشَّفَقِ فَهُوَ لِلَيْلَتَيْنِ.

Hadith.5172 - Hammad ibn Isa narrated from Abu Al-Safatij from Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) regarding the saying of Allah (swt), the Almighty and Majestic: "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell" (Surah An-Nisa 4:93). Imam (as) said
"If Allah (swt) chooses to punish him."
5172 - وَ رَوَى حَمَّادُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِي اَلسَّفَاتِجِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : فِي قَوْلِ اَللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ ۝ وَ مَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِناً مُتَعَمِّداً فَجَزٰاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۝ قَالَ
"إِنْ جَازَاهُ".

8. Muhammad has narrated from al-Fadl from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), ’Can one blow at the place where he places his forehead for prostration? 5 He (the Imam) replied, ’No, he cannot do so.”

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘When you decide to assume Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees) and Sajdah (prostration) position, raise your hands, say Takbir (Allah is great beyond description), then assume Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees) and Sajdah (prostration) position.’”
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَرْكَعَ وَتَسْجُدَ فَارْفَعْ يَدَيْكَ وَكَبِّرْ ثُمَّ ارْكَعْ وَاسْجُدْ.

hadith 1064
1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn Hadid from Jamil ibn Darraj from certain persons of our people who has said the following
“One of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, The right of al- Shuf’ah (pre-emption) of an asset belongs to a business partner who has not yet departed partnership.’”
1- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيْهِما السَّلام) قَالَ
الشُّفْعَةُ لِكُلِّ شَرِيكٍ لَمْ يُقَاسِمْ.

4. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from ibn Muskan from ibn abu Ya‘fur who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When a woman performs Sajdah (prostration) she must stretch her arms.’”
4ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
إِذَا سَجَدَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ بَسَطَتْ ذِرَاعَيْهَا.

2. Ḥasan ibn ‘Abdillāh narrated to me from his father ‘Abdillāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Dāwūd Al-Sarmi, who said
I heard Abā Ja’far the Second (Imam Jawād (a.s.)) say: Those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of my father (a.s.) will be rewarded with Paradise.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa in a marfu ’ manner from Hariz from Ya’qub al-Qummi from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“The cost of paradise is (sincerely) saying: ‘No one deserves to be worshipped except Allah and Allah is greater than everyones’ description.’”
1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى رَفَعَهُ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ الْقُمِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
ثَمَنُ الْجَنَّةِ لا إِلَهَ إِلا الله وَالله أَكْبَرُ.

7. With this chain of narrators, from Ahmad bin Muhammed, from Muhammed bin Isa, from Abdullah bin Umar bin Hammad al-Ansari, that he ascribed it, saying
Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, said: A man’s seek to cause harmony in his land is from (the trait of) manliness.
وبهذا الاسناد، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن محمد بن عيسى، عن عبد الله بن عمر بن حماد الأنصاري رفعه قال
قال أبو عبد الله عليه السلام: تعاهد الرجل ضيعته من المروءة.

أَدْنَى مَا تَحِلُّ بِهِ الْمُتْعَةُ كَفٌّ مِنْ طَعَامٍ وَرَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ مِسْوَاكٌ.

سَمِعْتُهُ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْمَنْفُوسَ لا يَرِثُ مِنَ الدِّيَةِ شَيْئاً حَتَّى يَسْتَهِلَّ وَيُسْمَعَ صَوْتُهُ.

I heard Aba Abdillah عليه السلام say: may Allah curse Burayd! and may Allah curse Zurara!

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from certain persons of our people who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Holy Prophet prohibited using one’s right hand to wash one’s buttocks and urethra.”
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
نَهَى رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) أَنْ يَسْتَنْجِيَ الرَّجُلُ بِيَمِينِهِ.
