Hadith 79
۞
`Ali b. Ahmad b. `Abdullah b. Ahmad b. Abi `Abdullah al-Barqi narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from his grandfather Ahmad b. Abi `Abdullah. He said: Sulayman b. Muqbil al-Medini narrated to me. He said: Musa b. Ja`far narrated to me from his father Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father Muhammad b. `Ali from his father `Ali b. al-Husayn from his father al-Husayn b. `Ali from his father Amir al-Mu’minin `Ali b. Abi Talib (as). He said
I visited the Messenger of Allah (s) in the Quba Mosque, and with him was a group of his companions. When he saw me, his face became jubilant, and he smiled until I saw his white, shining teeth. Then, he said: To me, O `Ali; to me, O `Ali. Then, he began to hold me closely, until my thigh touched his thigh. Then, he faced his companions and said: O my companions! I have presented mercy to you by presenting `Ali as my brother to you. O my companions! Surely, `Ali is from me, and I am from `Ali. His spirit is from my spirit, and his clay is from my clay. He is my brother, my deputy, and my vicegerent over my Nation in my lifetime and after my death. Whoever obeys him has obeyed me, whoever supports him has supported me, and whoever opposes him has opposed me.
10 - حدثنا علي بن أحمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله البرقي، قال: حدثنا أبي، عن جده أحمد بن أبي عبد الله، قال: حدثني سليمان بن مقبل المديني، قال: حدثني موسى بن جعفر، عن أبيه جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه محمد بن علي، عن أبيه علي بن الحسين، عن أبيه الحسين بن علي، عن أبيه أمير المؤمنين علي بن أبي طالب (عليه السلام)، قال
دخلت على رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) وهو في مسجد قبا وعنده نفر من أصحابه، فلما بصر بي تهلل وجهه وتبسم حتى نظرت إلى بياض أسنانه تبرق، ثم قال: إلي يا علي، إلي يا علي، فما زال يدنيني حتى ألصق فخذي بفخذه، ثم أقبل على أصحابه، فقال: معاشر أصحابي، أقبلت إليكم الرحمة بإقبال علي أخي إليكم. معاشر أصحابي، إن عليا مني وأنا من علي، روحه من روحي، وطينته من طينتي، وهو أخي ووصيي، وخليفتي على أمتي في حياتي وبعد موتي، من أطاعه أطاعني، ومن وافقه وافقني، ومن خالفه خالفني (2).
