Imam Ali (AS) said, Hold your souls to account before they are held to account and weigh them before they are weighed.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : حاسِبُوا أنْفُسَكُمْ قَبْلَ أنْ تُحاسَبُوا وَ وازِنُوها قَبْلَ أنْ تُوازَنُوا

Imam Ali (AS) said, One whose grief over his soul is prolonged in this world, Allah will give him delight on the Day of Resurrection and put him in the Eternal Abode [in Paradise].
