hadith 7159
Imam Ali (AS) said, Busying oneself with that which will not accompany you after death is from the greatest weakness.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اِشْتِغالُ النَّفْسِ بِما لايَصْحَبُها بَعْدَ المَوْتِ مِنْ أكْثَرِ الوَهْنِ

hadith 7171
Imam Ali (AS) said, Eschew every action that you are in no need of and busy yourself with the affair of the Hereafter, which you must [eventually] face.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أعْرِضُوا عَنْ كُلِّ عَمَل بِكُمْ غِنًى عَنْهُ وَ اشْغَلُوا أنْفُسَكُمْ مِنْ أمْرِ الآخِرَةِ بِما لابُدَّ لَكُمْ عَنْهُ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Be wary of bad deeds, deceptive aspirations, loss of hope and the sudden coming of death.
