محمد البرقي: = محمد بن خالد. وقع بهذا العنوان في جملة من الروايات تبلغ ستة عشر موردا. فقد روى عن أحمد بن النضر، وعبد الله بن المغيرة، وعلي بن النعمان، ومحمد بن سنان، ومحمد بن عبد الحميد، ومحمد بن الفضيل ومحمد بن يحيى الخزاز، والنضر بن سويد، والصفار. وروى عنه في جميع ذلك ابنه أحمد. أقول: هذا هو محمد بن خالد البرقي، إلا فيما روى فيه عن الصفار، فإنه من أحفاد محمد بن خالد البرقي.
