جبرئيل بن أحمد: الفاريابي: يكنى أبا محمد، كان مقيما بكش، كثير الرواية عن العلماء بالعراق، وقم، وخراسان. رجال الشيخ في من لم يرو عنهم عليهم السلام (9). والكشي، يروي عنه كثيرا، ويعتمد عليه، ويروى ما وجده بخطه، ولكنك عرفت غير مرة، أن اعتماد القدماء على رجل، لا يدل على وثاقته ولا على حسنه، لاحتمال أن يكون ذلك من جهة بنائهم على أصالة العدالة.
