Hadith.3992 - In a narration from Hisham ibn Salim, from Abu Abdullah (as), he said
"One dirham of usury is more severe in the sight of Allah (swt) than seventy acts of fornication, all of which are committed with forbidden relatives."
3992 - وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"دِرْهَمٌ رِبًا أَشَدُّ عِنْدَ اَللَّهِ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ زَنْيَةً كُلِّهَا بِذَاتِ مَحْرَمٍ ".

Hadith.4935 - Hisham ibn Salim narrated from Abu Abdillah (as) that
he said: "Indeed, Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, only forbade usury so that people would not refrain from acts of kindness."
4935 - وَ رَوَى هِشَامُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ: "إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ اَللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ اَلرِّبَا كَيْلاَ يَمْتَنِعُوا مِنْ صَنَائِعِ اَلْمَعْرُوفِ".

8. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has prohibited receiving Riba’ so that people do not deny acts of benevolence and compassion.”

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn Yahya from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who cheats us is not of our people.’”

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim that Abu ‘Abdillah (al-Sadiq) (as) said, “
The sin of receiving one dirham of [unlawful] interest is more serious than having seventy carnal relations with one’s mahrams."
1- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
دِرْهَمٌ رِبًا أَشَدُّ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ زَنْيَةً كُلُّهَا بِذَاتِ مَحْرَمٍ.

2. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Mansur from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following
“Once abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about the case of a man who makes a sale for an appointed time without having the merchandise with him and guarantees the sale for the buyer. He (the Imam) said, It is not unlawful.’”.
2- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ بَاعَ بَيْعاً لَيْسَ عِنْدَهُ إِلَى أَجَلٍ وَضَمِنَ لَهُ الْبَيْعَ قَالَ لا بَأْسَ بِهِ.

3. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Hisham ibn Salim from Muhammad ibn Qays who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the two groups of falsehood who fight each other; if I can sell arms to them. He (the Imam) said, ‘You can sell to them protective materials, like shields and shoes and so on.’”
3- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الْفِئَتَيْنِ تَلْتَقِيَانِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَاطِلِ أَنَبِيعُهُمَا السِّلاحَ قَالَ بِعْهُمَا مَا يَكُنُّهُمَا كَالدِّرْعِ وَالْخُفَّيْنِ وَنَحْوِ هَذَا.

7. Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Mansur ibn Hazim from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about properties gained during a war from the enemies. He (the Imam) replied, ’One-fifth is kept aside thereof which is for Allah and the Messenger. The rest is divided among the fighters and the guardian thereof.’”
7- مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْغَنِيمَةِ فَقَالَ يُخْرَجُ مِنْهَا خُمُسٌ للهِ وَخُمُسٌ لِلرَّسُولِ وَمَا بَقِيَ قُسِمَ بَيْنَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ عَلَيْهِ وَوَلِيَ ذَلِكَ.

16. [16/171] Rijal al-Kashshi: Hamduwayh b. Nusayr from Muhammad b. Isa from al-Washsha from Hisham b. Salim from Zurara who said
I asked Aba Ja`far عليه السلام about [accepting] the stipends given to officials [working in the bureaucracy of the Caliphate]? He said: there is no harm in [taking] it, then he said: Zurara wanted that it reach Hisham [the Caliph] that I prohibit working for the Sultan.

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim from Jahm ibn Humayd who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), once said to me, ‘Do you use the power of these people for cover?’ I replied, ‘No, I do not do so.’ He (the Imam) asked, ‘Why do you not do so?’ I replied, ‘It is because of my running away with my religion.’ He (the Imam) asked, ‘Are you determined in this issue?’ I replied, ‘Yes, I am determined.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Now your religion is safe for you.’”
10- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ جَهْمِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ
قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَمَا تَغْشَى سُلْطَانَ هَؤُلاءِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لا قَالَ وَلِمَ قُلْتُ فِرَاراً بِدِينِي قَالَ فَعَزَمْتَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ لِي الآنَ سَلِمَ لَكَ دِينُكَ.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Mansur from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who consumes Riba ’ and he considers it lawful. He (the Imam) replied, ‘It does not harm him as long as he does not consume it knowing that it is unlawful, in which case he will face the condition of one who is mentioned in the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious.
3- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَأْكُلُ الرِّبَا وَهُوَ يَرَى أَنَّهُ لَهُ حَرَامٌ قَالَ لا يَضُرُّهُ حَتَّى يُصِيبَهُ مُتَعَمِّداً فَإِذَا أَصَابَهُ مُتَعَمِّداً فَهُوَ بِالْمَنْزِلَةِ الَّتِي قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

9-10 Abu Ishaq Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Hamzih ibn Am’marat al-Hafiz said in what he wrote me that Salim ibn Salim and Abu Aroobat narrated that Abul-Khat’tab quoted Harun ibn Muslim, on the authority of Al-Qasim ibn Abdul Rahman al-Ansari, on the authority of Abdul Rahman al-Ansari, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (MGB), on the authority of his father (MGB), on the authority of Al-Hussein ibn Ali (MGB), “When the Prophet (MGB) conquered the Fort at Khaybar, he (MGB) asked them to fetch his bow and leaned on its handle. Then he praised God and recited God’s glorifications. He mentioned that God had brought this victory and triumph. Then the Prophet (MGB) admonished us against doing nine things: dowry of the fornicatress ; renting a male quadruped to copulate with female quadrupeds; wearing gold rings (for men); money paid for buying dogs; and violet saddles for riding animals (which Abu Aroobat has said, ‘
red saddles’); wearing certain clothes called Al-Qasi which were made in Syria; eating the meat of beasts of prey; exchanging some gold with more gold and silver with more silver ; and looking at the stars.”
9-10 أخبرني أبوإسحاق إبراهيم بن محمد بن حمزة بن عمارة الحافظ فيما كتب إلي قال: حدثني سالم بن سالم، وأبوعروبة قالا: حدثنا أبوالخطاب قال: حدثنا هارون بن مسلم قال: حدثنا القاسم بن عبدالرحمن الانصاري، عن محمد بن علي، عن أبيه، عن الحسين بن علي عليهم السلام قال
لما افتتح رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله خيبر دعا بقوسه فاتكأ على سيتها ثم حمدالله وأثنى عليه وذكر مافتح الله له ونصره به ونهى عن خصال تسعة: عن مهر البغي، وعن كسب الدابة يعني عسب الفحل وعن خاتم الذهب، وعن ثمن الكلب، وعن مياثر الارجوان قال أبوعروبة: عن مياثر الحمر وعن لبوس ثياب القسي وهي ثياب تنسج بالشام، وعن أكل لحوم السباع وعن صرف الذهب بالذهب والفضة بالفضة بينهما فضل وعن النظر في النجوم

hadith 310
6. Ibn abu ‘Umayr has narrated from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following
“I once was sitting in the presence of abu Ja‘far (a.s.), near the door of his house and he (the Imam) looked at the people passing in throngs and mobs. He (the Imam) asked someone near him, ‘Has anything happened in al-Madinah?’ He replied, ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, a new governor is assigned for al-Madinah and people are served lunch to welcome and congratulate him.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘The man serves people lunch to receive their congratulation and he is a door of the doors of the fire.’”
6- ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
كُنْتُ قَاعِداً عِنْدَ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَلَى بَابِ دَارِهِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى النَّاسِ يَمُرُّونَ أَفْوَاجاً فَقَالَ لِبَعْضِ مَنْ عِنْدَهُ حَدَثَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَمْرٌ فَقَالَ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ وُلِّيَ الْمَدِينَةَ وَالٍ فَغَدَا النَّاسُ يُهَنِّئُونَهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُغْدَى عَلَيْهِ بِالأمْرِ تَهَنَّأَ بِهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَبَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ النَّارِ.

hadith 309
5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim from abu Basir who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about working for them (sultans). He (the Imam) said, ‘O abu Muhammad, no, not even for moving a pen. For whatever one finds from them of the worldly things, one’s religion is harmed proportionately or that he (the Imam) said that until his religion is harmed; - uncertainty is from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr.’”
5- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ أَعْمَالِهِمْ فَقَالَ لِي يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ لا وَلا مَدَّةَ قَلَمٍ إِنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ لا يُصِيبُ مِنْ دُنْيَاهُمْ شَيْئاً إِلا أَصَابُوا مِنْ دِينِهِ مِثْلَهُ أَوْ قَالَ حَتَّى يُصِيبُوا مِنْ دِينِهِ مِثْلَهُ. الْوَهْمُ مِنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ.

8. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from Asbat ibn Salim who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case in which we buy a bundle of a hundred or so cloths in which there are good and bad ones ‘dast shumar ’ (farsi word for mixed). A man comes and takes ninety for the bundle with profit of one dirham for each. Is it proper for us to sell the rest as just we sold? He (the Imam) said, ‘No, unless he alone buys the cloth.’”
8- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ أَسْبَاطِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) إِنَّا نَشْتَرِي الْعِدْلَ فِيهِ مِائَةُ ثَوْبٍ خِيَارٍ وَشِرَارٍ دَسْتْشُمَارَ فَيَجِيئُنَا الرَّجُلُ فَيَأْخُذُ مِنَ الْعِدْلِ تِسْعِينَ ثَوْباً بِرِبْحِ دِرْهَمٍ دِرْهَمٍ فَيَنْبَغِي لَنَا أَنْ نَبِيعَ الْبَاقِيَ عَلَى مِثْلِ مَا بِعْنَا فَقَالَ لا إِلا أَنْ يَشْتَرِيَ الثَّوْبَ وَحْدَهُ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad and Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following
“Once abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about the case of a man who sells foodstuff to another man in quantity of several kur but cannot deliver what he owes, and says to the other party to accept two Qafiz (a certain unit of measurement) of barley for one Qafiz of wheat to compensate for the deficit. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not valid; the origin of barley is from wheat, however, he can return his dirhams proportionate to the degree of deficit.’”
1- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ وَأَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سُئِلَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَبِيعُ الرَّجُلَ الطَّعَامَ الأكْرَارَ فَلا يَكُونُ عِنْدَهُ مَا يُتِمُّ لَهُ مَا بَاعَهُ فَيَقُولُ لَهُ خُذْ مِنِّي مَكَانَ كُلِّ قَفِيزِ حِنْطَةٍ قَفِيزَيْنِ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ حَتَّى تَسْتَوْفِيَ مَا نَقَصَ مِنَ الْكَيْلِ قَالَ لا يَصْلُحُ لأنَّ أَصْلَ الشَّعِيرِ مِنَ الْحِنْطَةِ وَلَكِنْ يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ الدَّرَاهِمَ بِحِسَابِ مَا نَقَصَ مِنَ الْكَيْلِ.

1. He said: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Salim ibn al-Baraa, popularly known as Ibn al-Ji’abi, may Allah bless him with mercy, reported to me from Abul Abbas Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Saeed al-Hamdani, popularly known as Ibn Uqdah, who reported from Yahya ibn Zakariyya ibn Shayban, who reported from Muhammad ibn Marwan al-Dhuhali, from Amru ibn Saif al-Azdi who said
Abu Abdillah Ja’far ibn Muhammad (as told me: "Do not abandon seeking your subsistence from its legitimate sources, for that helps you remain on your faith. And fasten your camel (first), and then entrust (it to) Allah."
1 - قال: حدثنا أبو بكر محمد بن عمر بن سالم بن البراء المعروف بابن الجعابي رحمه الله قال: حدثنا أبو العباس أحمد بن محمد بن سعيد الهمداني المعروف بابن عقدة قال: حدثنا يحيى بن زكريا بن شيبان قال: حدثنا محمد بن مروان الذهلي، عن عمرو بن سيف الأزدي قال: قال لي أبو عبد الله جعفر بن محمد عليهما السلام
لا تدع طلب الرزق من حله فإنه عون لك على دينك ، واعقل راحل��ك وتوكل.

4. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from abu al-Fadl Salim al-Hannat who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), once asked me, ‘What is your business?’ I replied, ‘It is selling wheat. At times business is good and sometimes it is not good so I hold selling.’ He (the Imam) then asked, ‘What do people who visit you say about it?’ I replied, ‘They say, “He is a hoarder.’” He (the Imam) asked, ‘Does anyone else sell wheat besides you?’ I replied, ‘I sell only one out of a thousandth of what is sold in the market.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Then there is no offense in what you do. The person who hoarded food was Hakim ibn Hizam. He would buy all food supplies that came to al- Madinah. The Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, passed by his place and said, “O Hakim ibn Hizam, you must not hoard (food supplies).””’

قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) مَا عَمَلُكَ قُلْتُ حَنَّاطٌ وَرُبَّمَا قَدِمْتُ عَلَى نَفَاقٍ وَرُبَّمَا قَدِمْتُ عَلَى كَسَادٍ فَحَبَسْتُ فَقَالَ فَمَا يَقُولُ مَنْ قِبَلَكَ فِيهِ قُلْتُ يَقُولُونَ مُحْتَكِرٌ فَقَالَ يَبِيعُهُ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُكَ قُلْتُ مَا أَبِيعُ أَنَا مِنْ أَلْفِ جُزْءٍ جُزْءاً قَالَ لا بَأْسَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ حَكِيمُ بْنُ حِزَامٍ وَكَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الطَّعَامُ الْمَدِينَةَ اشْتَرَاهُ كُلَّهُ فَمَرَّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) فَقَالَ يَا حَكِيمَ بْنَ حِزَامٍ إِيَّاكَ أَنْ تَحْتَكِرَ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim and Muhammad ibn Humran from al-Walid ibn Sabih who has said the following
“I once went to visit abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and I met Zurarah who received me when he was coming out of the presence of the Imam. He (the Imam) said to me, ‘O Walid, is it not strange to you that Zurarah asks me about working for these people? What does he want me to say? Does he want me to say no, so that he can narrate it from me?’ He (the Imam) then said, ‘O Walid, when did the Shi ’ah ask about working for them? The Shi ’ah would only say, ‘You can eat their food, use their drink and live under their protection.’ When did the Shi‘ah ask about it (working for them)?”’
2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حُمْرَانَ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ صَبِيحٍ قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فَاسْتَقْبَلَنِي زُرَارَةُ خَارِجاً مِنْ عِنْدِهِ فَقَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَا وَلِيدُ أَمَا تَعْجَبُ مِنْ زُرَارَةَ سَأَلَنِي عَنْ أَعْمَالِ هَؤُلاءِ أَيَّ شَيْ‏ءٍ كَانَ يُرِيدُ أَيُرِيدُ أَنْ أَقُولَ لَهُ لا فَيَرْوِيَ ذَلِكَ عَنِّي ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا وَلِيدُ مَتَى كَانَتِ الشِّيعَةُ تَسْأَلُ عَنْ أَعْمَالِهِمْ إِنَّمَا كَانَتِ الشِّيعَةُ تَقُولُ يُؤْكَلُ مِنْ طَعَامِهِمْ وَيُشْرَبُ مِنْ شَرَابِهِمْ وَيُسْتَظَلُّ بِظِلِّهِمْ مَتَى كَانَتِ الشِّيعَةُ تَسْأَلُ عَنْ هَذَا.

hadith 897
Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar (ra) narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us from Salama b. al-Khattab from Ayyub b. Sulaym al-`Attar from Ishaq b. Bishr al-Kahili from Salim al-Aftas from Sa`id b. Jubayr from Ibn `Abbas. He said
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: He who enters the market, buys a gift, and brings it to his family is like one who brings charity to a needy people. He should start with the females before the males, for he who gladdens his daughter is like one who frees a slave from the Children of Isma`il. He who gladdens the eye of his son is like one who weeps out of humility before Allah; and whoever weeps out of humility before Allah, Allah will enter him into the Paradise of Bliss.
6 - حدثنا أحمد بن محمد بن يحيى العطار (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا سعد ابن عبد الله، عن سلمة بن الخطاب، عن أيوب بن سليم العطار، عن إسحاق بن بشر الكاهلي، عن سالم الافطس، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، قال
قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من دخل السوق فاشترى تحفة فحملها إلى عياله، كان كحامل صدقة إلى قوم محاويج، وليبدأ بالاناث قبل الذكور، فإن من فرح ابنة فكأنما أعتق رقبة من ولد إسماعيل، ومن أقر بعين ابن فكأنما بكى من خشية الله عز وجل، ومن بكى من خشية الله عز وجل أدخله الله جنات النعيم (1).
