“Verily, Allah, the Mighty and High, will hold evidence against the people with what He gave them and made them to recognize.”

I heard al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as) say: Fulfill trusts, even to a killer of al-Husayn b. `Ali (as).

30 – al-Ḥusayn b. Aḥmad b. al-Mughīra, Abū ʿAbdillāh, al-Bushanjī, ʿIraqi. Confused in madhhab, thiqa in his narration.

“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘When one completes reciting Adhan and sits down he should say, “O Lord, make my heart virtuous, my livelihood constant, my sustenance to come continuously and assign for me a place near the grave of your prophet to rest and dwell.’”

The Prophet of God (s) damned whoever causes an affliction or hides someone who has done so.” Al-Hassan ibn Bint Elias asked, “What is meant by causing an affliction here?” The Imam (s) replied, “Killing.”

Tafath is a man’s abstention from perfume. When he has ended his rites, perfume is permissible to him.

Muhammad b. Abi Bishr narrated to me. He said: Al-Husayn b. Haytham narrated to us from Sulayman b. Dawud al-Minqari. He said: Whenever `Ali b. Ghurab narrated to us from Ja`far b. Muhammad, he would say: The truthful about Allah (al-sadiq `an Allah) Ja`far b. Muhammad (as) narrated to us.

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘What can I recite for the morning Salah (prayer) on Friday?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘In the first Rak‘at recite Surah (chapter) al-Jumu‘ah and in the second Rak‘at recite Chapter 112 then read Qunut (supplication after recitation in second Rak‘at) so both become equal.’”

“’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘If one escorts the body of a deceased, his reward is four qirat, one for escorting, one for Salah (prayer) for a deceased, one for waiting until burial is complete and one for offering condolences.’”

“Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (a.s.), has said, ‘The judicial laws of Muslims are based on three principles; Just witnesses or decisive oath or a tradition practiced by the Imam of guidance who have passed away.’”

12 – al-Ḥusayn b. ʿAlī b. Zakariyya b. Ṣāliḥ b. Zufar, al-ʿAdawī, Abū Saʿīd, al-Baṣrī. Very weak. A Liar.

Hadith.2309 - It has been narrated: "Al-Husayn ibn Ali (as) was martyred when Abu Ja'far (as) was four years old."

Everything in this book that is narrated from Isa ibn Abdullah Al-Hashimi has been transmitted by me from Muhammad ibn Musa ibn Al-Mutawakkil - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Yahya Al-Attar, from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn ibn Abi Al-Khattab, from Muhammad ibn Abi Abdullah, from Isa ibn Abdullah ibn Ali ibn Umar ibn Ali ibn Al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib - peace be upon them.

“I once asked abu Ja’far (a.s.), about a man who becomes busy at noontime; can he perform in the beginning of the day? He (the Imam) said, ’Yes, he can do so if he knows that he becomes busy, thus he can do them all early on.’”

I asked him: “Has Allah always existed?” Thus, he (AS) replied, “Verily, the Willer can only exist if He has a Will. In fact, He has always been All-Knowing, All-Powerful, then He intended.”

I asked Abā Ibrāhīm (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) if a Muqassir can establish voluntary prayers next to the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.), in the (different holy) sites of the Prophet (s.a.a.w.), and in the two Ḥarams. Imam (a.s.) replied, “Yes. Establish as many voluntary prayers as you can.” Note from the Author: My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh who asked Ayyūb ibn Nūḥ about that which has been narrated in regards to Taqsīr of the prayers in the holy sites like Makkah, Madīnah, Kūfah, and next to the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.). He replied, “I (believe it is also permissible to) establish the obligatory prayers in Taqsīr, and Safwān used to do the same. Ibn Abī ‘Umayr and the rest of our companions also used to establish the obligatory prayers in Taqsīr in these four sites.”

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Ḥusain (a.s.) led the (Fajr) prayer for his companions on the day on which they were assaulted and then said, “O people! I testify that permission has been granted for you to be killed, so fear Allāh and remain patient.”

“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), ‘How much Zakat, the Messenger of Allah has levied? He (the Imam) said, ‘It is five dirham on every two hundred and if it is less, then Zakat is not due. On every twenty dinar of gold Zakat is half dinar and Zakat is not due on less than twenty dinar.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), once said to me, ‘Whatever you say of Allah and the Holy prophet is of Salah (prayer). As soon as you say the phrase, ‘I appeal before Allah to send peace on us and on the virtuous servants of Allah’, you have ended Salah (prayer).”’
