God’s Prophet (MGB) had blood-letting done on Monday afternoons.”

“Nay, both His Hands are spread out.” So I asked him “Does He have hands like this? And I pointed with my hand to his hand. Consequently, he replied, “No, for if that were the case, He would have been created.”

I read the following in the letter of Abil Ḥasan Al-Riďā (a.s.): Tell my Shia that coming to my Ziyārah in the eyes of Allāh is equal to performing one thousand Hajj. So I asked Abā Ja’far (Imam Jawād (a.s.)), “One thousand Hajj!?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “I swear to Allah, yes! And (the reward is) one million Hajj for those who go to his Ziyārah while knowing his rights.”

Is there not for you in [the case of] Abi al-Hasan [al-Kadhim] عليه السلام a warning! What do you think is the state of Hisham b. al-Hakam? For he is the one who did to Abi al-Hasan what he did, and he informed them and divulged to them [the secrets of the Madhhab]. Do you think Allah will forgive him what he has perpetrated on us!

"The charity best loved by Allah is to bring about reconciliation among people when they are divided by friction and to bring them closer to each other when they have moved apart."

31-199 The Georgian interpreter Abul Hassan Muhammad ibn Al-Qasim - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ahmad ibn Al-Hassan Al-Hassani quoted on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali ibn Muhammad (a.s.), on the authority of his father Ali Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.), on the authority of his father Musa ibn Ja’far (a.s.), “As-Sadiq (a.s.) was asked about abstinence in this world. He said, It is to abstain from the legitimate things in this world for the Reckoning and abstain from what is forbidden in this world due to the fear of the Fire.”

The narrator asked Imam Jawad (a.s.), “What is the reward of performing Ziyarat of Imam Ridha (a.s.)?” He replied, “By Allah, his destination is Paradise.”

“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), once took out for me a musk container in which there was musk in an Abnus (a container made of a certain wood) container which had sections with things that women keep.’”

the reward of the Ziyarat of the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.) is equal to that of an accepted Umrah.

“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.) prepared his directive will to his son, al-Hassan four months before his leaving this world. He appointed me to bear testimony to his will as well as a group of the follower friends.”

“I once asked al-Rida’ (a.s.), ‘Is visiting the grave of abu al-Hassan (a.s.), like visiting the grave of al-Husayn (a.s.) ?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘Yes, it is so.’”

“Abu al-Hassan, al-Thalith (a.s.), would say, ‘I have not used anything for food more inducing illnesses than dried up meat, that is, al-Qadid.’”

“Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.) has said, ‘Prayer and pleading before Allah for help, repels the misfortune that has already come down and that which has not yet come down.’”

And whatever is narrated from Ali bin Asbat, I have narrated it from Muhammad bin Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad bin Al-Hasan Al-Saffar, from Muhammad bin Al-Husayn bin Abi Al-Khattab, from Ali bin Asbat.

"Surely, the Angel appointed to the servant (of Allah) records (everything) in his books of deeds. So, register a good deed at its beginning and at its end, (so that) Allah may forgive you that which transpires in between."

`Umayr b. Ma'mun al-`Ataridi narrated to me. He said: I saw al-Hasan b.Ali (as) sit in his place after praying Fajr until sunrise. I heard him say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: “He who prays Fajr and sits in his place remembering Allah until sunrise, Allah will shield him from the Fire, Allah will shield him from the Fire, Allah will shield him from the Fire.”

I heard the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his progeny, say: "Fatimah is a part of me; whoever pleases her, pleases me, and whoever displeases her, displease me. She is dearer to me than all beings."

We estimated that at that time from the descendents of abu Talib, Hashim and Quraysh there were about fifty men besides his slaves and other people. At such time he look at al-Hassan ibn Ali coming and the front of his shirt was torn. He stood at the right of his father and we did not know him. Abu al-Hassan (a.s.) looked at him after a while and said, “My son, renew your thanks to Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious, because He has granted you a new task (Leadership with Divine Authority).” The young man wept, praised Allah, and said, “We are for Allah and to Him we shall return. He then said, “All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. I pray to Allah for completion the blessings for us in you. “We are for Allah and to Him we shall return.” We asked about him and it was said that he was al-Hassan, the son of the Imam. We estimated his age at that time around twenty years or more. On that day we learned and came to know that he had tacitly made a statement about the succeeding Imam and (the Leader with Divine Authority).”

Everything in this book that is narrated from Al-Ays ibn Al-Qasim has been transmitted by me from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Saffar, from Yaqub ibn Yazid, from Safwan ibn Yahya, from Al-Ays ibn Al-Qasim.

“Surely whenever a believer intends to commit a sin, he is deprived of his sustenance.”
