Hadith 1
۞
1. The grand Shaikh al-Mufid Abu Abdillah Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Nu’man, may Allah continue to bless him with His protection and beneficence today said: Abul Hasan Ahmed ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn al-Walid reported to me from his father Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, from Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al Saffar, from Ahmed ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, from Muhammad ibn Khalid, from Ibn Hammad, from Abu Jamilah, from Jabir ibn Yazeed that Abu Ja’far Muhammad al-Baqir, peace be upon him, reported from his father that
"Surely, the Angel appointed to the servant (of Allah) records (everything) in his books of deeds. So, register a good deed at its beginning and at its end, (so that) Allah may forgive you that which transpires in between."
1 - حدثنا الشيخ الأجل المفيد أبو عبد الله محمد بن محمد بن النعمان أدام الله حراسته وتوفيقه في هذا اليوم، قال: أخبرني أبو الحسن أحمد بن محمد بن الحسن بن الوليد، عن أبيه محمد بن الحسن، عن محمد بن الحسن الصفار، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن محمد بن خالد، عن ابن حماد ، عن أبي جميلة، عن جابر بن يزيد، عن أبي جعفر محمد الباقر، عن أبيه عليهما السلام، قال
إن الملك الموكل بالعبد يكتب في صحيفته أعماله، فأملوا [في] أولها [خيرا] و [في] آخرها خيرا يغفر لكم ما بين ذلك .
