Hadith.2525 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said: "The beginning of Al-‘Aqiq is Barid al-Ba‘th, which is a station before Barid Ghamrah."

“One of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘The last section of al-‘Aqiq is Barid of Awtas.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Barid al-Ba‘th is two Barid before Ghamrah.””

Imam Ali (AS) said, The eye is the emissary of the heart.

I asked Abu Ja'far (as) about the ruling for shortening the prayer. Imam (as) said: "A barid going and a barid returning. The Messenger of Allah (sw) would shorten his prayers when he reached Dhu'bāb."

Hadith.1268 - Abdullah ibn Yahya al-Kahili heard him say about the shortening of prayers that a "Barid in a Barid" (a distance) is "twenty-four miles." Then He said: "My father (as) used to say: 'The shortening (of prayers) was not placed upon the swift mule or the quick steed; rather, it was intended for the traveling caravan.'" COMPRE ومتى كان سفر الرجل ثمانية فراسخ فالتقصير واجب عليه، وإذا كان سفره أربعة فراسخ وأراد الرجوع من يومه فالتقصير عليه واجب، وإن كان سفره أربعة فراسخ ولم يرد الرجوع من يومه فهو بالخيار إن شاء أتم وإن شاء قصر. When a person's journey is eight Farsakhs, the shortening of prayers becomes obligatory for them. If the journey is four Farsakhs and they intend to return on the same day, shortening the prayers is also obligatory. However, if the journey is four Farsakhs and there is no intention to return on the same day, then they have the option—if they wish, they may complete (full prayers), and if they wish, they may shorten (the prayers).

And whatever is narrated from Al-Qasim ibn Burayd, I have narrated it from Muhammad ibn Musa ibn Al-Mutawakkil - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Ali ibn Al-Husayn Al-Saʿdaʾbadi, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid, from his father, from Muhammad ibn Sinan, from Al-Qasim ibn Burayd ibn Muawiyah Al-Ajli.

Everything in this book that is narrated from Ishaq ibn Burayd has been transmitted by me from Muhammad ibn Musa ibn Al-Mutawakkil - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Ali ibn Al-Husayn Al-Sadabadi, from Ahmad ibn Abi Abdullah Al-Barqi, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Nasr Al-Bazanti, from Al-Muthanna ibn Al-Walid, from Ishaq ibn Burayd.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The beginning of al-‘Aqiq is Barid al-Ba‘th, and it is six miles before al-Maslakh from the side of Iraq; between this and Ghamrah there is twenty four miles and two Barid.’” “Certain persons of our people have said, ‘When you come out of al-Maslakh, then assume the state of Ihram at the first Barid.’” (Ahadith 3-10 of previous Chapter are best explained by means of fatwa either because they speak of the same issue with only different narrators or that expressing their precise meaning requires expert’s opinion).

"He (a person who invalidates their Umrah) must go out to one of the Miqats, enter Ihram from there, and perform a new Umrah."

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the minimum distance after the traveling of which a traveler reduces his Salah (prayer). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is one barid.’”

“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘Salah (prayer) is reduced after traveling a distance of one barid and one barid is four farasikh (which is twelve miles).”’

"He is to be killed, whether he is married or unmarried."

"Muslims are bound by their conditions."

“Abū ʿJaʿfar (a) said, ‘It used to be said: verily among the most beloved of the servants of Allah to Allah is the doer of good who repents often.’”

It is not unlawful.’”

he was asked about a Muslim who gouged out the eye of a Christian. Imam (as) replied: "The blood money (diyyah) for the eye of a dhimmi (non-Muslim under Islamic protection) is four hundred dirhams."

"If a free man divorces a bondwoman and she completes part of her waiting period (ʿiddah) while still a slave and then she is freed, she must complete the waiting period according to the rules of a bondwoman."

"She is to be lashed half the prescribed punishment, whether she has a husband or does not have a husband."

"The one who makes a will has the right to revoke it or make changes to it as long as he is alive."

"The grandfather, when inheriting alongside the paternal siblings, is considered as one of the brothers."
