“Al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, the sugar which is chipped with a hammer eats away (abolishes) phlegm entirely.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Milk is the food of the Messengers.”’

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Zakat of jewelries is allowing others to borrow it.’”

“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘Chickpeas are good cures for back pain and he (the Imam) would ask for it before and after food.’”

“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one gives his daughter in marriage to a man who drinks wine, he has cut off the relation that relatives are commanded to maintain.’”

“Al-Rida’ (a.s.), once said to me, ‘If you want to marry, marry a woman of large buttocks.’”

“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about a man who is in the state of Ihram; if he can buy and sell slave-girls. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, he can do so.”

“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Women are given desires of twelve parts and patience of twelve parts.’”

“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about ‘Aqiqah and he (the Imam) said, ‘It is the same for both male and female.”’

“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘Dry bread helps one to digests citron.’”

“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), has said, ‘Al-Sadab (Rue herb of grace) increases the power of understanding.’”

“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘Pigeons are the birds of the Prophets, ‘Alayhim al- Salam.”’

“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘Using perfume is of the moral discipline of the Prophets/”

“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), as to with how many people I can share my al-Hajj. He (the Imam) said, ‘You can share with whatever number of people you want.’”

Hadith.1000 - Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Nasr al-Bazanti asked Imam al-Ridha (as) about a man who forgot to say the Takbir al-Ihram (opening Takbir) until he had already said the Takbir for bowing (ruku'). Imam (as) replied: "It suffices him”.

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who is in the state of Ihram; if he can divorce. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, he can pronounce divorce.’”

“I once asked abu Ibrahim, Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a man who made an al-Rahn (security deposit and mortgage) deal which is for one hundred dirham with a value of three hundred dirham and it was consumed; if he had to pay two hundred dirham to the other party. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, because he has taken al-Rahn (security deposit) in which there is increase and loss.’ I then asked, ‘What happens if half is consumed?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is proportionate.’ I then asked, ‘Do they return to each other the extra?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, that it true.’”

Ali Ibnul Husain, Imam Zainul Abideen (a.s) and before him Amirul Momineen (a.s); and Imam Muhammad Baqir and Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s) have said: With attention to the blessed verse: “Allah makes to pass away and establishes what He pleases, and with Him is the basis of the Book.” (13:39) How can we inform about the future? And as for one who says that ‘the Almighty Allah has knowledge of everything after it occurs and not before’, has become a disbeliever and is out of the pale of monotheism.

“Once Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) said to me, ‘It is of certainty that the ears, eyes and heart will all be questioned. ’(17:36) He said, ‘The ears will be questioned about what they have heard, the eyes will be questioned about what they have looked upon and the heart will be questioned about what it has established as belief.’”

"Indeed, he weighs heavily on the heart."
