“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Circumcision is of pure obedience to Allah.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The saddle is a condemned riding thing for women.”’

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The dogs of al-Kurdiyah (Kurdish people), when you train them, are like the dogs of al-Saluqiyyah (name of town in Yemen).”’

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Al-Sarfan is the master of your dates.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), disliked wearing al-Burtalah (a deep cape).”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘It is Mustahab (desirable) to use ruby as a ring.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A shroud is not perfumed”

“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘You must not apply clay to the grave which is not of the clay of that grave.’”

“Abu al-Hassan al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘Marriage in the manner of al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage) is not permissible with a slave-girl without the permission of her people.’”

Hadith.2834 - In a narration by Jamil ibn Darraj from one of the Imams (as), it is stated: "The one who is ignorant in leaving the two Rak'ahs at the Station of Ibrahim (as) is treated as one who forgets."

“When Ibrahim ibn Al-Abbas and De’bel al-Khoza’ee reached Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.) after the people had pledged allegiance to him, De’bel said,‘The schools for the Qur’anic verses are void of reciting nowand the landing site of revelations is left like a barren desert!’And Ibrahim ibn Al-Abbas recited the following,‘After enduring calamities, they will remove the weariness of the hearts:The shrines of the children of the Prophet Muhammad.’Then Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.) granted them twenty-thousand Dirhams which were coined in his name. De’bel went towards Qum with his share of ten-thousand Dirhams and exchanged each Dirham with ten other Dirhams. Thus he got one-hundred thousand Dirhams. Ibrahim had most of the money except for some which he had donated to some people or his family until he died - may God forgive him. The expenses for his shrouding and burial were paid for by using that money.

“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who marries a woman in the manner of al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage) for the duration of one month. Then it comes to his heart and he likes to have a condition for more than a month; if it is permissible to increase in her mahr (dower) to extend the number of days before it (the time already set) expires. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, two conditions in one and the same condition are not permissible.’ I then asked, ‘What must he do about it?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘She can give up the remaining of the time in his favor as charity and then initiate a new condition of extension of time.’”

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Surely, a servant will be imprisoned for a sin from his sins for one hundred years while looking at his wives and brothers in Paradise.

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: When one of you holds the clay of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.), you should recite (the following): O Allāh! I ask You through the right of the angel who picked it, and the Messenger who appointed it, and the Successor who is lying within it to make it the cure from every disease (and from this disease) – mention the name of the disease.

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: The longest of you in qunut in this world will be the most restful of you on the Day of Resurrection at the stand.

“Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) has said, ‘The Holy Prophet read the following for the protection of al-Hassan and al-Husayn, recipients of divine supreme covenant, ‘I seek protection for both of you with the perfect words of Allah, with all of His beautiful, universal names against the evil of the poisonous ones, that which causes worry, all the evil eyes, and the envious ones when they exercise their envy. ’ The Holy Prophet then turned to us saying, ‘This is how Ibrahim sought protection for Isma’il and Ishaq.’”

The Family of Yasin is the Family of Muhammed, peace be upon him.

“A man in Masjid al-Haram (the Sacred Masjid) asked abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, about the greatest sin. He (the Imam) replied, ‘If one attends these two places, ‘Arafah and al-Muzdalifah, performs Sa‘y between these two hills, performs Tawaf around this House, performs salat (prayer) behind Maqam of Ibrahim (a.s.) then says to himself or thinks that Allah does not forgive his sins, he has, of all people, sinned the most.’”

“Once abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about a man who travels in the months of al-Hajj for al-‘Umrah, then returns to his town. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful. If he performs al-Hajj in that year he is not required to offer animal offering. Al-Husayn ibn Ali, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, left before the day of al-Tarwiyah (eight of Dhu al-Hajj ah) for Iraq and he had entered Makkah for al-‘Umrah.’” NOTE: (Fatwa best explains Hadith 2-3 of this Chapter.)

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’Every time Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, sent a Prophet it was in the knowledge of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, that in the case of completing His religion wine must have been made unlawful. It had to remain unlawful, however, religion is to change the habits one after the other. Were such change to take place all at once, people would boycott religion as a whole.’”
