8. My father and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan both narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Ibrāhīm ibn Hāshim, from ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Amr ibn Shimr, from Jābir (Al-Ju’fi), who said
Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: No one kills the prophets or their descendants except those who are conceived illegitimately.
8 وَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ

24. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Safwan from Sa’id ibn ‘Abd Allah al-A’Raj who has said the following
“Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) about a man who reads the Holy Quran but then he forgets, he reads again and forgets. Is it an offense? The Imam said, ‘No, it is not an offense.’”
24ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله الأعْرَجِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ ثُمَّ يَنْسَاهُ ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُهُ ثُمَّ يَنْسَاهُ أَ عَلَيْهِ فِيهِ حَرَجٌ فَقَالَ لا.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ibn ‘Udhaynah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who assumes the state of Ihram for al-Hajj in the months that are not for al-Hajj; his Hajj is not valid, and one who assumes the state of Ihram from a non-Miqat (place for assuming the state of Ihram), his Ihram is not valid.’”
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) مَنْ أَحْرَمَ بِالْحَجِّ فِي غَيْرِ أَشْهُرِ الْحَجِّ فَلا حَجَّ لَهُ وَمَنْ أَحْرَمَ دُونَ الْمِيقَاتِ فَلا إِحْرَامَ لَهُ.

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah in a marfu‘ manner saying
“Someone said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘Certain people consider applying Nurah (lime as hair cleaner) on Friday as undesirable.’ The Imam said, ‘It is not as they say. No other cleaner is a better cleaner on Friday than Nurah.’” (The following chapters are best explained by fatwa.)
10ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله رَفَعَهُ قَالَ
قِيلَ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) يَزْعُمُ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ أَنَّ النُّورَةَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ مَكْرُوهَةٌ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ حَيْثُ ذَهَبَ أَيُّ طَهُورٍ أَطْهَرُ مِنَ النُّورَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah who has said the following
“Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘Can I read the Holy Quran in one night?’ The Imam said, ‘I do not like your reading it in less than a month’s time.’”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) أَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ قَالَ لا يُعْجِبُنِي أَنْ تَقْرَأَهُ فِي أَقَلَّ مِنْ شَهْرٍ.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ibn Muskan from abu Basir who has narrated the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a woman who dies and leaves behind just her husband. He (the Imam) said, ‘The legacy belongs to him.’ He said, ‘It means that there are no other heirs besides the husband.’”
5- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قُلْتُ امْرَأَةٌ مَاتَتْ وَتَرَكَتْ زَوْجَهَا قَالَ الْمَالُ لَهُ قَالَ مَعْنَاهُ لا وَارِثَ لَهَا غَيْرُهُ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu Nasr from ‘Abd al-Karim from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Al-Li‘an (condemnation) does not take place until one goes to bed with his wife/”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
لَا يَقَعُ اللِّعَانُ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الرَّجُلُ بِأَهْلِهِ .

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Jamil ibn Darraj from certain persons of our people who has said the following
“One of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘Man should perform the two Rak‘at Salat (prayer) after obligatory or optional Tawaf with Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad and Surah (Chapter) 109.’”
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ
قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا (عَلَيْهِما السَّلاَم) يُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ رَكْعَتَيِ الطَّوَافِ طَوَافِ الْفَرِيضَةِ وَالنَّافِلَةِ بِقُلْ هُوَ الله أَحَدٌ وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ.

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from a man from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “About the case of a man who looks at his wife when she is nude, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘
It is not unlawful. Pleasure is but in such things.’”
6- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي الرَّجُلِ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ عُرْيَانَةٌ قَالَ
لا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ وَهَلِ اللَّذَّةُ إِلا ذَلِكَ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Muhammad ibn Humran from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once heard abu Ja’far (a.s.), saying, ‘Whoever of people revive a land and build it, they are more deserving to have it and it is for them. 5 ”

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ أَيُّمَا قَوْمٍ أَحْيَوْا شَيْئاً مِنَ الأرْضِ وَعَمَرُوهَا فَهُمْ أَحَقُّ بِهَا وَهِيَ لَهُمْ.

“About the case of a man who rubs his body with flour and oil after lime, abu al-Hassan (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not harmful.’”

عَلَيْهَا الْخُمُسُ.

إِذَا وَالَى الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ فَلَهُ مِيرَاثُهُ وَعَلَيْهِ مَعْقُلَتُهُ.

“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who looks at a slave-girl whom he wants to buy; if she is lawful for his son. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, she is lawful unless he has looked at her private organs.”’
3- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) الرَّجُلُ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْجَارِيَةِ يُرِيدُ شِرَاهَا أَتَحِلُّ لابْنِهِ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ إِلا أَنْ يَكُونَ نَظَرَ إِلَى عَوْرَتِهَا.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who kills, a bug, flea, lice or a fly while in Salah (prayer), does it invalidate his Salah (prayer) and Wudu’? He (the Imam) said, ’No, it does not do so.’”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام)
فِي الرَّجُلِ يَقْتُلُ الْبَقَّةَ وَالْبُرْغُوثَ وَالْقَمْلَةَ وَالذُّبَابَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ أَ يَنْقُضُ صَلاَتَهُ وَوُضُوءَهُ قَالَ لاَ.

220. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from someone else, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Amro Bin Ibrahim who said
I asked Abu Ja’far (asws) and complained to him (asws) of a weak stomach, so he (asws) said: ‘Drink ‘الْحَزَاءَ’ Al-Haza’a with the cold water’. So I did it, and found what I liked’.
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عليه السلام) وَ شَكَوْتُ إِلَيْهِ ضَعْفَ مَعِدَتِي فَقَالَ اشْرَبِ الْحَزَاءَ بِالْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ فَفَعَلْتُ فَوَجَدْتُ مِنْهُ مَا أُحِبُّ.
