I asked Ja’far bin Muhammed, peace be upon them both, about the Tablet and the Pen, so he said: They are two Angels.

"Place Dawud Al-Raqqi in the same position with me as Al-Miqdad was with the Messenger of Allah (swt) - peace and blessings be upon him and his family."

“Once we were with Abu Ja’far Muhammad bin Ali al-Jawad (as) when as-Sufyani was mentioned and that his matter was inevitable. I said to Abu Ja’far al-Jawad (as): “Does Allah change His determination concerning the inevitable matters?” He said: “Yes, He does.” We said to him: “We fear that He may change his determination concerning the matter of al-Qa’im!” He said: “The matter of al-Qa’im is a part of the promise of Allah and Allah dose not fail to perform His promise.”

I asked Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, about the saying of Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He: «And We place the Scales of Justice for the Day of Resurrection, and so no soul shall be treated unjustly at all.» (21:47) He said: They are the Prophets and Successors, peace be upon them.

I asked Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, about the Throne and the Chair: What are they? He said: The Throne is, on one side, the totality of the creation, and the Chair is its vessel, and on the side of the last part of the Throne is the knowledge which Allah made His Prophet, Messengers and Proofs sight upon, and the Chair is the knowledge which Allah did not make anyone of His Prophets, Messengers and Proofs, peace be upon them, sight upon.

I asked Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, about the Path. So he said: It is the Way to conscious knowledge of Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He, and they are two Paths: a Path in this world, and a Path in the Hereafter. As for the Path that is in this world, it is the Imam whose obedience is obligatory; the one who knows him in this world and follows his guidance, will walk on the Path that is the bridge of Hell in the Hereafter, and the one who does not know him in this world, his foot will slip off the Path in the Hereafter and collapse into the Fire of Hell.

“Whoever desires to meet Allah, Mighty and Glorified be He, in a state of safety and purity and that the Great Fear should not terrify him, he must befriend you and befriend your sons Hasan, Husain, Ali Ibn Husain, Muhammad Ibn Ali, Ja’far Ibn Muhammad, Musa Ibn Ja’far, Ali Ibn Musa, Muhammad, Ali, Hasan and the Mahdi, who will be their last. In the last era, there will be a group, who will befriend you, O Ali. People will hate them, although had they loved them (the Shias), it would have been better for them, if they but knew. They (Shias) will give preference to you and your sons over their fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, relatives and kin, blessings of Allah be on them, the best of blessings. They will be gathered beneath the Standard of Praise (Liwaul Hamd), their sins will be overlooked and their grades will be raised as a reward of their deeds.
