hadith 800
Hadith.800 - Abdullah ibn Bukayr asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about a man praying while letting the sides of his garment hang loose. Imam (as) said: "There is no issue with it”.
800 - وَ سَأَلَ عَبْدُ اَللَّهِ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: فِي اَلرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي وَ يُرْسِلُ جَانِبَيْ ثَوْبِهِ قَالَ «لاَ بَأْسَ بِهِ.

7. Yunus has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said testimony of women about virginity and every defect which men cannot look at is admissible.’”
7- يُونُسُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) قَالَ
تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ النِّسَاءِ فِي الْعُذْرَةِ وَكُلِّ عَيْبٍ لا يَرَاهُ الرِّجَالُ.

Hadith.151 - Abdullah ibn Bakir asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about a man who wears a garment with janabah (ritual impurity from sexual activity) and sweats in it. Imam (as) said: 'The garment does not make the man ritually impure.'.
151 - وَ سَأَلَ عَبْدُ اَللَّهِ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: عَنِ اَلرَّجُلِ يَلْبَسُ اَلثَّوْبَ وَ فِيهِ اَلْجَنَابَةُ فَيَعْرَقُ فِيهِ فَقَالَ
«إِنَّ اَلثَّوْبَ لاَ يُجْنِبُ اَلرَّجُلَ.

(4) Bin Sinan narrated from Yahya bin al-Muthanna al-Attar, also it was narrated by al-Hakam that Abu Ja’far al-Baqir (as) had said
“How about you if you go and you do not find anyone (to resort to) and you come back and you do not find anyone?”

hadith 1799
4. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr from abu Basir who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about wine which is turned into vinegar. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful if one has not placed in it what overwhelms it.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْخَمْرِ تُجْعَلُ خَلًّا قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ إِذَا لَمْ يُجْعَلْ فِيهَا مَا يَغْلِبُهَا .

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has narrated the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about making a will for the heir. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is permissible.’”

Hadith.1658 - Abdullah ibn Bukayr narrated from Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) who said
"I take a dirham from one of you, while I am among the wealthiest people in Medina. I do this only so that you may be purified."
1658 - وَ رَوَى عَبْدُ اَللَّهِ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنِّي لآَخُذُ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمُ اَلدِّرْهَمَ وَ إِنِّي لَمِنْ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ اَلْمَدِينَةِ مَالاً مَا أُرِيدُ بِذَلِكَ إِلاَّ أَنْ تُطَهَّرُوا ».

Hadith.4359 - It is narrated from Abdullah ibn Bukayr, from Muhammad ibn Muslim, that Abu Abdillah (as) said
"Among the blessings of a woman are the lightness of her expenses and the ease of her childbirth. And among her misfortunes are the heaviness of her expenses and the difficulty of her childbirth."
4359 - رُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : "مِنْ بَرَكَةِ اَلْمَرْأَةِ خِفَّةُ مَئُونَتِهَا وَ تَيْسِيرُ وِلاَدَتِهَا وَ مِنْ شُؤْمِهَا شِدَّةُ مَئُونَتِهَا وَ تَعْسِيرُ وِلاَدَتِهَا".

6. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from his father from al- Qasim ibn ‘Urwah from ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr from Zurara from abu Ja’far and Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who have said the following
“Whoever in his heart may have an amount of arrogance of the size of an atom he will not be able to enter paradise.”
6ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ وَأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالا
لا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ مِنْ كِبْرٍ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), disliked a man’s sleeping overnight on a flat roof without safety fencing wall around it. It is the same for both men women.’”

كَرِهَ أَنْ يَبِيتَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَطْحٍ لَيْسَتْ عَلَيْهِ حُجْرَةٌ وَ الرَّجُلُ وَ الْمَرْأَةُ فِي ذَلِكَ سَوَاءٌ .

28-70 (The author of the book narrated) my father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ahmad ibn Idris quoted on the authority of Ali ibn al-Ryan, on the authority of Ubaydillah ibn Abdullah al-Dihqan al-Vaseti, on the authority of Al-Hussein ibn Khalid al-Kufi that he told Abil Hassan Al-Ridha (s), “May I be your ransom! There is a tradition which Abdullah ibn Bokayr has quoted on the authority of Obayd ibn Zorara.” The Imam (s) said, “
What is that tradition?” Al-Hussein ibn Khalid al-Kufi said, “He narrated on the authority of Obayd ibn Zorara that he met Aba Abdullah (s) in the year in which Ibrahim ibn Abdullah ibn Al-Hassan had revolted. He told the Imam (s), ‘This man has delivered speeches and the people are joining him. What do you order?’ The Imam (s) said, ‘Fear God and remain calm for as long as the heavens and the Earth are calm.’ Abdullah ibn Bokayr said, ‘If Obayd ibn Zorara is right, then there will be neither a revolt nor will there be any Riser.’ Then Abil Hassan (s) said, “The tradition is the same as narrated by Obayd. However, it does not mean the same as that which Abdullah ibn Bokayr has understood. What Imam As-Sadiq (s) meant was that one should fear God and remain calm for as long as the heavens are calm and the name of your Owner (Imam al-Mahdi) has not been called, and the Earth is calm and it has not devoured up the enemy troops.”
70 - حَدَّثَنا أَبي رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا أَحْمَدِ بْنِ إِدْرِيس قالَ: حَدَّثَني عَلِىِّ بْنِ ِلريان قالَ‏عُبَيْد اللَّه بن عَبْدِ اللَّه الدهقان الواسِطِىَّ، عَن الحُسَيْنِ بْنِ خالِد الكُوفِي، عَن أَبي الحَسَن‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ
قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ حَدِيثٌ كَانَ يَرْوِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَن عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ فَقَالَ لِي وَمَا هُوَقَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ رُوِيَ، عَن عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ فِي السَّنَةِ الَّتِي خَرَجَ فِيهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ إِنَّ هَذَا قَدْ آلَفَ الْكَلامَ وَسَارَعَ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ فَمَا الَّذِي تَأْمُرُ بِهِ فَقَالَ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاسْكُنُوا مَا سَكَنَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالأَرْضُ قَالَ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ لَئِنْ كَانَ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ زُرَارَةَ صَادِقاً فَمَا مِنْ خُرُوجٍ وَمَا مِنْ قَائِمٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ لِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ الْحَدِيثُ عَلَى مَا رَوَاهُ عُبَيْدٌ وَلَيْسَ عَلَى مَا تَأَوَّلَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ إِنَّمَا عَنَى أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بِقَوْلِهِ مَا سَكَنَتِ السَّمَاءُ مِنَ النِّدَاءِ بِاسْمِ صَاحِبِكَ وَمَا سَكَنَتِ الأَرْضُ مِنَ الْخَسْفِ بِالْجَيْشِ.

23.Faḍālah narrated from ʿAbdullāh ibn Bukayr, from Abū Baṣīr, from Abū Jaʿfar (a) who said
“The Messenger of Allah (ṣ) used to say in his sermon, ‘Cursing a believer is transgression and fighting him is disbelief. Consuming his property [without permission] is a sin and his property is as inviolable as his blood.’”
فضالة عن عبد الله بن بكير عن أبي بصير عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال
كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله يقول في خطبته سباب المؤمن فسق وقتاله كفر واكل ماله معصية وحرمة ماله كحرمة دمه.

Hadith.4840 - Abdullah ibn Bukayr narrated from Humran who said
I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about a man who said to his female slave, "You are to me as the back of my mother," intending by this statement to please his wife. Imam (as) replied: "He may approach her (the slave), and there is nothing upon her or upon him."
4840 - وَ رَوَى عَبْدُ اَللَّهِ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ حُمْرَانَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ رَجُلٌ قَالَ لِأَمَتِهِ أَنْتِ عَلَيَّ كَظَهْرِ أُمِّي يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُرْضِيَ بِذَلِكَ اِمْرَأَتَهُ قَالَ "يَأْتِيهَا وَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا وَ لاَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ".

Hadith.3938 - It is narrated from Abdullah bin Bukayr, who said
I asked Abu Abdillah (as) about a man who made an advance payment (salam) for something that people typically make advance payments for, such as fruits, but the fruits were destroyed, and he did not receive what was due. Imam (as) said: "Let him take back his principal amount, or he may grant the debtor more time."
3938 - وَ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَسْلَفَ فِي شَيْءٍ يُسْلِفُ اَلنَّاسُ فِيهِ مِنَ اَلثِّمَارِ فَذَهَبَ ثِمَارُهَا وَ لَمْ يَسْتَوْفِ سَلَفَهُ قَالَ "فَلْيَأْخُذْ رَأْسَ مَالِهِ أَوْ لِيُنْظِرْهُ".

Hadith.5055 - Ibn Mahbub narrated from Abdullah ibn Bukayr from Anbasah ibn MuṣAb who said
I asked Abu Abdullah (as), "If my bondwoman commits adultery, should I administer the prescribed punishment on her?" Imam (as) replied: "Yes, but let it be done in secrecy, for I fear the ruler's authority upon you."
5055 - وَ رَوَى اِبْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ إِنْ زَنَتْ جَارِيَةٌ لِي أَحُدُّهَا قَالَ "نَعَمْ وَ لْيَكُنْ ذَلِكَ فِي سِرٍّ فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكَ اَلسُّلْطَانَ".

6. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from ibn Sama‘ah from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah and Ali ibn Ribat from ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr from ‘Ubayd ibn Zurarah who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that brothers from mother’s side do not receive any share from the wergild.’”
6- حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَبَلَةَ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ رِبَاطٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
لا يَرِثُ الإخْوَةُ مِنَ الأمِّ مِنَ الدِّيَةِ شَيْئاً.

4. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr from Zurara from Humran ibn ‘A’yun who has said the following
“Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, ‘We showed him the right path, whether he would be grateful or ungrateful.’ (76:3) The Imam said, ‘If he accepts it (belief), he is then grateful or rejects it; he then is an unbeliever.’”
4ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ حُمْرَانَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) عَنْ قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِنَّا هَدَيْناهُ السَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شاكِراً وَإِمَّا كَفُوراً قَالَ إِمَّا آخِذٌ فَهُوَ شَاكِرٌ وَإِمَّا تَارِكٌ فَهُوَ كَافِرٌ.

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ja’far ibn Muhammad from Ishaq ibn Muhammad from Yahya ibn al-Muthanna from ‘Abdallah ibn Bukayr from ‘Ubayd ibn Zurara who has said the following.
“I heard abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) say as herein below. “People will miss their Imam (a.s.). He will attain Hajj and see them but they will not see him.”
6ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ يَفْقِدُ النَّاسُ إِمَامَهُمْ يَشْهَدُ الْمَوْسِمَ فَيَرَاهُمْ وَلا يَرَوْنَهُ.

7-18 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim quoted on the authority of Ibn Abi Umayr, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Bakir that Zurarah said, “
I saw Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) and heard him start his prayer with seven continuous Takbirs (saying God is Great).”
7-18 حدثنا أبي رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن أبيه عن ابن أبي عمير، عن عبد الله بن بكير، عن زرارة قال
رأيت أبا عبد الله عليه السلام وسمعته استفتح الصالة بسبع تكبيرات ولاء
