he said: "Whoever visits the grave of my father (as) in Baghdad, it is as if they have visited the grave of the Messenger of Allah (swt), peace be upon him and his family, and the grave of the Commander of the Faithful (as) except that the Messenger of Allah (swt), peace be upon him and his family, and the Commander of the Faithful (as) have their unique superiority."

And whatever is narrated from Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad Al-Qummi, I have narrated it from Muhammad ibn Ali Majilawayh - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim, from his father, from Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad Al-Qummi, from Al-Riḍa, peace be upon him.

6. Imam Musa Kadhim (a.s.) says, “One who does the Ziyarat of Imam Husain (a.s.) near River Euphrates knowing his right, honor and love its minimum reward is that all the sins, past and future, will be forgiven.”

“Al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘Whoever visits my father in Baghdad is like one who has visited the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, and the grave of ’Amir al-Mu’minin. O Allah, I appeal before You to grant salawat (favors and compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause). Except, however, the Messenger of Allah and ’Amir al-Mu’minin have their own special merits.’”

“Abu al-Hassan, Musa, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘The least of rewards that a visitor of abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, near al-Furat canal, will receive, when he has proper understanding of his rights, sacred status, his possessing authority from Allah, is forgiveness of his past sins and that which come later.’”

Abul Ḥasan, Mūsā (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) said: The minimum reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) by the shores of the Euphrates (River) while knowing his rights and believing in his sanctity and Wilāyah is that all of their past and future sins will be forgiven.

Abul Ḥasan (Imam Riďā (a.s.)) said: Those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Ḥusain (a.s.)) by the shores of the Euphrates (River) are like those who have gone to the Ziyārah of Allāh on top of His Throne.

Abul Ḥasan, Mūsā ibn Ja’far (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) said: The minimum reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) by the shores of the Euphrates (River), while knowing his rights and believing in his sanctity and Wilāyah, is that all of their past and future sins will be forgiven.

Imam Riďā (a.s.) said to me: Those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of my father (a.s.) in Baghdad are like those who have gone to the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) and the grave of the Commander of the Believers (a.s.), except that the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) and the Commander of the Believers (a.s.) have their own specific ranks. The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb, from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl ibn Bazī’, from Al-Khaybari, from Ḥusain ibn Muḥammad Al-Ash’ari Al-Qummi, from Imam Riďā (a.s.).

Imam Riďā (a.s.) said to me: Those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of my father (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) in Baghdad are like those who have gone to the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh and the Commander of the Believers (a.s.), except that the Messenger of Allāh and the Commander of the Believers (a.s.) have their own (distinct) status. Then Imam (a.s.) added: Those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Ḥusain (a.s.)) by the shores of the Euphrates (River) are like those who have gone to the Ziyārah of Allāh on top of His KURSǏ.

“A person visiting the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.) near Euphrates is like a person who visits Allah near the Divine throne.”
