“Abu Muhammad (a.s.) showed him (the twelfth Imam (a.s.) to me and said, “This will be your master (Leader with Divine Authority).”

“Abu Muhammad (a.s.) showed me his son and said, “This will be your master (Leader with Divine Authority) after me.”

" -referring to Muhammad, Ali, Fatima, Hasan, Husayn, and the Imams (AS) from their descendants- "But he [Adam] forgot." (20:115) This, by Allah, is how it was revealed to Muhammad (sw).

“One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘It is not unlawful to wear a cloth which is dyed with al-Mu‘asfar (dye with safflower)/”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that divorce of a child does not have any valid effect.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Divorce of a drunken man does not have any valid effect.’”

he heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.) say the following. “Would we not receive (new knowledge) we would diminish (in knowledge).” Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from Safwan from abu a1-Hassan (a.s.) a similar Hadith.

“If one says during his Ruku‘, sajdah or standing position, ‘Allahumma Salli ‘Ala Muhammad wa ‘Ali Muhammad (O Allah grant Muhammad and his family a compensation worthy of their serving Your cause),’ Allah writes for him the reward for a sajdah, Ruku‘ or standing for worship.”

“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘Entering paradise is prohibited to spies and gossip mongers.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one of you visits his brother in belief during his illness, he should ask him (the patient) to pray for him; a patient’s prayer is like the prayer of the angels.’”

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the most excellent item in the Sunnah of Salah (prayer). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is the complete, all fifty (Rak‘at).’” Al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id has narrated from Muhammad ibn Sinan a similar Hadith.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Whoever needs help from Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, should first ask from Allah al-Salat (favors) for the Holy Prophet and his family, then pray and plead before Allah for help, then conclude it with asking from Allah al-Salat for the Holy Prophet and his family; Honor of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, does not allow to accept both ends of the prayer and leave out the middle; asking from Allah al-Salat for the Holy Prophet and his family is never barred from reaching His presence.’”

“I once asked one of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, about the case of a man who had committed sinful acts with a woman if he could marry her breastfeeding mother or daughter. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, he cannot do so.’ Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim a similar Hadith.”

“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), has said, ‘With whatever (lawful) means one opens the door to his sustenance it is business and trade.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one divorces his wife without witnesses it does not become of any valid effect.’”

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about touching al-Ka‘bah. He (the Imam) said, ‘You should touch its backside.’”

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Women can continue wearing ornaments.’” Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from Aban from Muhammad ibn Muslim from abu Ja‘far (a.s.), a similar Hadith.

“You have not become brothers on the basis of this belief (of Shi’a Muslims) but you have recognized each other because of it.”’

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one in the state of Ihram becomes ill one must treat the illness with edible items while he is in the state of Ihram.”’

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Divorce of a pregnant woman is once and her waiting period is the closest of the two periods, (that is, childbirth or three months).’”
