12. Ahmad has narrated from ibn Faddal from af-Mithamiy from abu Basir who has said the
foiiowing: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), disliked placing of the loaf of bread under the dish.’”
أَحْمَدُ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّهُ
كَرِهَ أَنْ يُوضَعَ الرَّغِيفُ تَحْتَ الْقَصْعَةِ.

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from al-Mithamiy from Aban ibn Taghlib who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A loaf of bread must not be placed under the dish.”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) لَا يُوضَعُ الرَّغِيفُ تَحْتَ الْقَصْعَةِ .

15. Hamid ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Maythami from ‘Anbasah al-‘Abid who has said that
I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) say the following: “Joking is a minor form of name-calling.”
15ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ الْعَابِدِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ الْمِزَاحُ السِّبَابُ الأصْغَرُ.

2. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah from abu al-Mighra’, from Sama‘ah from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘
Were I to govern the people I would teach them how to divorce, thereafter I would make the back of the violators painful. Those who divorce against the Sunnah must be returned to the book of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, despite their opposing.’”
قَالَ وَ حَدَّثَنِي بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ الْمِيثَمِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ أَوْهَمَهُ الْمِيثَمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ).وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
لَوْ وَلِيتُ النَّاسَ لَأَعْلَمْتُهُمْ كَيْفَ يَنْبَغِي لَهُمْ أَنْ يُطَلِّقُوا ثُمَّ لَمْ أُوتَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ إِلَّا وَ أَوْجَعْتُ ظَهْرَهُ وَ مَنْ طَلَّقَ عَلَى غَيْرِ السُّنَّةِ رُدَّ إِلَى كِتَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ إِنْ رَغِمَ أَنْفُهُ .

11. Hamid ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Kindi from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Maythami from ‘Anbasah al-‘Abid who has said the following
“I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘Much laughing eliminates the dignity of one’s face.’”
11ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ الْعَابِدِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ كَثْرَةُ الضَّحِكِ تَذْهَبُ بِمَاءِ الْوَجْهِ.

2. Sāliḥ Al-Sayrafi narrated from ‘Imrān Al-Maythami, from Sāliḥ ibn Maytham, who said
Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Those who desire sitting at MAWĀ`ID made of light on the Day of Judgment should go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.).
2 وَ رَوَى صَالِحٌ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ مِيثَمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ
مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَى مَوَائِدِ النُّورِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ- فَلْيَكُنْ مِنْ زُوَّارِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ع

And whatever is narrated from Al-Mithami, I have narrated it from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Ṣaffar, from Yaʿqub ibn Yazid, from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan ibn Ziyad, from Ahmad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Mithami.
عن محمّد بن الحسن- رضي اللّه عنه- عن محمّد بن الحسن الصفّار، عن يعقوب بن يزيد، عن محمّد بن الحسن بن زياد، عن أحمد ابن الحسن الميثميّ‌.

Hadith.4984 - Ali ibn Ismail Al-Mithami narrated from Basheer, who said
"I read in some books that Allah (swt), the Blessed and Exalted, said: 'I will not grant My (swt) mercy to the one who exposes Me (swt) to false oaths, nor will I bring near to Me (swt) on the Day of Judgment the one who was an adulterer.'"
4984 - وَ رَوَى عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ اَلْمِيثَمِيُّ عَنْ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ
قَرَأْتُ فِي بَعْضِ اَلْكُتُبِ قَالَ اَللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى "لاَ أُنِيلُ رَحْمَتِي مَنْ يُعَرِّضُنِي لِلْأَيْمَانِ اَلْكَاذِبَةِ وَ لاَ أُدْنِي مِنِّي يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ كَانَ زَانِياً".

Hadith.3685 - Al-Mithami narrated from Abu Musa who said
I said to Abu Abdillah (as)-"May I be your ransom! Can a man borrow and perform Hajj?" Imam (as) said: "Yes." I said: "Can he borrow and get married?" Imam (as) said: "Yes, for he awaits the provision of Allah (swt) morning and evening."
3685 - وَ رَوَى اَلْمِيثَمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ - جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ يَسْتَقْرِضُ اَلرَّجُلُ وَ يَحُجُّ قَالَ "نَعَمْ" قُلْتُ يَسْتَقْرِضُ وَ يَتَزَوَّجُ قَالَ "نَعَمْ إِنَّهُ يَنْتَظِرُ رِزْقَ اَللَّهِ غُدْوَةً وَ عَشِيَّةً".

3. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Sama‘ah from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Ubayd ibn Zurarah and abu al-‘Abbas who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A man must not go to bed with a woman in a Wednesday night.’”
3- حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ وَأَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ قَالا
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) لَيْسَ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِامْرَأَةٍ لَيْلَةَ الأرْبِعَاءِ.

3. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from Sama‘ah from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from al- Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, once said, ‘Make for me white capes and do not (make them of large size that require folding) break them; a master like me does not wear the broken one.’”

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) اعْمَلْ لِي قَلَانِسَ بَيْضَاءَ وَ لَا تُكَسِّرْهَا فَإِنَّ السَّيِّدَ مِثْلِي لَا يَلْبَسُ الْمُكَسَّرَ .

11. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Bassam al=Sayrafiy who has said the following
“About the case of a camel that feeds on feces, abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘It cannot be used for food or riding for forty days.’”

لَا يُؤْكَلُ لَحْمُهَا وَ لَا تُرْكَبُ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً .

12. Hamid ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Asadi from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Maythami from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘It is undesirable ( makruh ) to read Chapter 112 in one breath.”’
12ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الأسَدِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يُكْرَهُ أَنْ يُقْرَأَ قُلْ هُوَ الله أَحَدٌ بِنَفَسٍ وَاحِدٍ.

The Almighty Allah saved Bani Israel from the mischief of Firon through Musa (a.s) and He would save this community from its Firon also through a person named Musa.
27- قال الموسوي وحدثني أحمد بن الحسن الميثمي عن أبيه عن أبي سعيد المدائني قال
سمعت أبا جعفر عليه السلام يقول: إن الله استنقذ بني إسرائيل من فرعونها بموسى بن عمران وإن الله مستنقذ هذه الأمة من فرعونها بسميه.

3. Certain persons of our people have narrated from Ali ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Harun ibn Hamzah from certain persons of our people who has said the following
“Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.), has said that a creature does not die until the seed from which it is created comes out through his mouth or his eye.”
3ـ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيْهِما الْسَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَخْلُوقَ لاَ يَمُوتُ حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ مِنْهُ النُّطْفَةُ الَّتِي خُلِقَ مِنْهَا مِنْ فِيهِ أَوْ مِنْ عَيْنِهِ.

15. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Kindiy from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Abd al- Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about hunut for a deceased. He (the Imam) said, ‘Apply it on the parts of his body used during prostration.’”
15ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الْحَنُوطِ لِلْمَيِّتِ قَالَ اجْعَلْهُ فِي مَسَاجِدِهِ.

10. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Aban from abu al-‘Abbas and ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following
“We heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘ Al-Shuf ’ (one’s rights of pre-emption) is applicable only between two partners who have not concluded their partnership.’”

سَمِعْنَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ الشُّفْعَةُ لا تَكُونُ إِلا لِشَرِيكٍ لَمْ يُقَاسِمْ.

3. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Kindiy from al-Mithamiy from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Abd al- Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a woman experiencing Hayd (menses), if she can perform Salah (prayer) for a deceased. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, but she must not stand in the line; instead stand alone.’”
3ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
قُلْتُ تُصَلِّي الْحَائِضُ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلاَ تَصُفُّ مَعَهُمْ تَقُومُ مُفْرَدَةً.

4. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from abu Yusuf from al-Mithamiy in a marfu’ manner has said the following
“Once, a man came to ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), and said, ‘I have just married, pray for me to Allah.’ He (the Imam) said, ’Say, 0 Lord, with Your words I have made her marriage lawful and in Your trust I have taken her (in marriage); O Lord, make her child-bearing, loving and not clashing in dislike, use what is found and not ask what to bring home (this and that).”’
4- عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِي يُوسُفَ عَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ
أَتَى رَجُلٌ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فَقَالَ لَهُ إِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ فَادْعُ اللهَ لِي فَقَالَ قُلِ اللهُمَّ بِكَلِمَاتِكَ اسْتَحْلَلْتُهَا وَبِأَمَانَتِكَ أَخَذْتُهَا اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا وَلُوداً وَدُوداً لا تَفْرَكُ تَأْكُلُ مِمَّا رَاحَ وَلا تَسْأَلُ عَمَّا سَرَحَ.
