4. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Dihqan ‘Ubayd Allah from al-Husayn ibn Khalid who has said the following
“I once heard abu al-Hassan, Alayhi al-Salam, saying, ‘You must use ruby in the ring; it disallows poverty.’”
سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الدِّهْقَانِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ تَخَتَّمُوا بِالْيَوَاقِيتِ فَإِنَّهَا تَنْفِي الْفَقْرَ .

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Dihqan from Durust from Ibrahim from ‘Abd al- Hamid who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), has said, ’Eating apple and coriander causes forgetfulness.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
أَكْلُ التُّفَّاحِ وَ الْكُزْبُرَةِ يُورِثُ النِّسْيَانَ .

17. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ja‘far ibn Muhammad al-Ash‘ari from ‘Ubaydallah al-Dihqan from Durust from Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid that Abu ‘Abdillah (al-Sadiq) (as) said
"The most perfect of people in intellect are the best of them in character."
17ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الاشْعَرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ الله الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَكْمَلُ النَّاسِ عَقْلاً أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقاً.

7. Through the same chain of narrators as that of the previous Hadith the following is narrated from A number of our people from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa al-Yaqtiniy from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Dihqan from Durust from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Eating on a full stomach can cause leprosy (albinism).”’

1. [1/-] Rijal al-Kashshi: One of the trustworthy narrators in Naysabur reported that a Tawqi [signed rescript] came out addressed to Ishaq b. Ismail from Abi Muhammad عليه السلام saying: O Ishaq b. Ismail, may Allah protect both you and us with His protection … so when you reach Baghdad then read it [this Tawqi] to al-Dihqan, our Wakil [agent], our Thiqa [trustworthy one], and the one who collects from our followers [the dues].

7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ali ibn Ma’bad from al-Dihqan from Drust from abu Khalid who has said the following
“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘You must give Ghusl (bath) to every dead person because of drowning, being killed by beasts and by all other causes except those who are killed between two lines of fighters, who only if found alive, are given Ghusl (bath), otherwise, Ghusl (bath) is not required.’”
7ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ عَنِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ قَالَ
اغْسِلْ كُلَّ شَيْ‏ءٍ مِنَ الْمَوْتَى الْغَرِيقِ وَأَكِيلِ السَّبُعِ وَكُلَّ شَيْ‏ءٍ إِلاَّ مَا قُتِلَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَّيْنِ فَإِنْ كَانَ بِهِ رَمَقٌ غُسِّلَ وَإِلاَّ فَلاَ.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from [his father] from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Dihqan from Durust ibn abu Mansur from Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), has said, ‘Folding clothes is giving them rest and durability.’”

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Ja‘far from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Abd Allah al-Dihqan from Durust al- Wasitiy from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘When you eat cucumber, eat it from the bottom because it is greater for blessing.”’
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ الْوَاسِطِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) إِذَا أَكَلْتُمُ الْقِثَّاءَ فَكُلُوهُ مِنْ أَسْفَلِهِ فَإِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِبَرَكَتِهِ .

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Dihqan from Durust from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that once a man complained before the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, about loneliness and fear. He (the Messenger of Allah) commanded him to keep a pair of pigeons in his house.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
شَكَا رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْوَحْشَةَ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ فِي بَيْتِهِ زَوْجَ حَمَامٍ .

hadith 482
Ahmad ibn Ja'far al-Dehghan narrated that someone told Imam Hassan al-Askari (a.s)
“How come Abu Delph owns four thousand and one villages?” Imam Hassan al-Askari (a.s) replied: “He invited a believer to his house one night, and when he wanted to leave, he gave him a bag of dates containing four thousand and one dates to take with him. That is why God rewarded him with the ownership of one village for each date.”
عن أحمد بن جعفر الدهقان قال
قال رجل لأبي الحسن العسكري (عليه السلام): كيف أبو دلف له أربعة آلاف قرية وقرية؟ فقال له: إنه ضاف به مؤمن ليلة فزوده جلة من تمر كان فيها أربعة آلاف تمرة وتمرة، فأعطاه الله بكل تمرة قرية.

5. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Dihqan from Musa ibn Ibrahim who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about selling grass and pastures. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful, the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, had reserved al-Naqi‘ (name of a place) for the horses of the Muslims.’”
5- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْكَلإ وَالْمَرَاعِي فَقَالَ لا بَأْسَ بِهِ قَدْ حَمَى رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) النَّقِيعَ لِخَيْلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.

566. Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Ubeydullah Bin Ahmad Al-Dahqaan, from Ali Bin Al-Hassan Al-Tatary, from Muhammad Bin Ziyad Al-Sabiry, from Ajlaan Abu Salih who said
‘I heard Abu Abdullah (asws) saying: ‘Ali (asws) Bin Abu Talib (as) killed forty by his (asws) hands on the Day of Hunain’.
حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الطَّاطَرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ بَيَّاعِ السَّابِرِيِّ عَنْ عَجْلَانَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) يَقُولُ قَتَلَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ (عليه السلام) بِيَدِهِ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ أَرْبَعِينَ.

14. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ja’far ibn Muhammad ibn Bashir from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn al-Dihqan from Drust from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Whoever read al-Hakum al-Takathur Chapter 102 of the Holy Quran at bedtime will be safe from the mischief of the grave.’”
14ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ الله بْنِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) مَنْ قَرَأَ أَلْهَيكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ وُقِيَ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘When a stumper stumbles and man riding it says, ‘May you be destroyed.’ The stumper says, ‘May the one of us who is most disobedient to the Lord be destroyed.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِذَا عَثَرَتِ الدَّابَّةُ تَحْتَ الرَّجُلِ فَقَالَ لَهَا تَعَسْتِ تَقُولُ تَعَسَ أَعْصَانَا لِلرَّبِّ.

11. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from certain ones who narrated who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the
Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a) used to use anything he could find to clean between his teeth, except for palm leaves and reeds.'”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) يَتَخَلَّلُ بِكُلِّ مَا أَصَابَ مَا خَلَا الْخُوصَ وَ الْقَصَبَ .

2. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Abdillah b. Ja’far from Muhammad b. Isa from Abdillah al-Dahqan from Durust from Ibrahim from Abi al-Hassan the first (a.s.) who said
“I guarantee that one who leaves his house wearing a turban will remain safe from theft, drowning and burning (to death).”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ ع قَالَ
أَنَا الضَّامِنُ لِمَنْ خَرَجَ مِنْ بَیْتِهِ یُرِیدُ سَفَراً مُعْتَمّاً تَحْتَ حَنَکِهِ أَلَّا یُصِیبَهُ السَّرَقُ وَ الْغَرَقُ وَ الْحَرَقُ.

4. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Dihqan from Durust from Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), has said, ‘Of the matters that Adam said in his will to Hibbatullah was his saying, ‘You must eat pomegranate; if you eat it when you are hungry, it is sufficient; and if you eat when satisfied it is pleasant to you.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
مِمَّا أَوْصَى بِهِ آدَمُ ( عليه السلام ) هِبَةَ اللَّهِ أَنْ قَالَ لَهُ عَلَيْكَ بِالرُّمَّانِ فَإِنَّكَ إِنْ أَكَلْتَهُ وَ أَنْتَ جَائِعٌ أَجْزَأَكَ وَ إِنْ أَكَلْتَهُ وَ أَنْتَ شَبْعَانُ أَمْرَأَكَ .

“Abu al-Hassan, al-Awwal (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, ate melons with sugar. He (the Messenger of Allah) ate melons with fresh dates.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
أَكَلَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْبِطِّيخَ بِالسُّكَّرِ وَ أَكَلَ الْبِطِّيخَ بِالرُّطَبِ .

حُرِّمَ مِنَ الشَّاةِ سَبْعَةُ أَشْيَاءَ الدَّمُ وَ الْخُصْيَتَانِ وَ الْقَضِيبُ وَ الْمَثَانَةُ وَ الْغُدَدُ وَ الطِّحَالُ وَ الْمَرَارَةُ .
