2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from ‘Ubayd ibn Zurarah who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who marries a woman but has not gone to bed with her. He (the Imam) said, ‘If he or she dies or he divorces her, she deserves one- half of the mahr (dower), complete inheritance and must count complete waiting period.’”

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Ali ibn abu Hamzah who has said the following
“Once, abu Ibrahim (a.s.), was asked about the case of a woman whose husband becomes mentally ill after marriage or becomes insane. He (the Imam) said, ‘If she wants to pull herself away from him she can do so if so she wishes.”’
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ
سُئِلَ أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ يَكُونُ لَهَا زَوْجٌ وَ قَدْ أُصِيبَ فِي عَقْلِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَزَوَّجَهَا أَوْ عَرَضَ لَهُ جُنُونٌ فَقَالَ لَهَا أَنْ تَنْزِعَ نَفْسَهَا مِنْهُ إِنْ شَاءَتْ.

“Say, ‘O Lord, increase my sustenance, prolong my life, forgive my sins and make me of those whom You employ to support Your religion and do not replace me by others.’”
27 - أبو علي الأشعري، عن محمد بن عبد الجبار، عن صفوان بن يحيى، عن العلاء بن رزين، عن محمد بن مسلم، عن أبي جعفر (عليه السلام) قال
قل: " اللهم أوسع علي في رزقي وامدد لي في عمري واغفر لي ذنبي واجعلني ممن تنتصر به لدينك ولا تستبدل بي غيري ".

9. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from Zurarah who has said the following
“One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has stated this Hadith. ‘Of the two issues whichever comes first, it marks the end of her waiting period: one is passing of three months in which she does not see Hayd (menses), thus her waiting period ends. If three Hayd-free periods pass this also marks the end of her waiting period.’”

12. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from al-Fudayl from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
“A man commits a sin and it moves sustenance away from him and he (Imam) read this verse of the Holy Quran: ‘. . . when they swore to pluck all the fruits of the garden in the morning, (68:17) without adding, "if Allah wills" (18). A visitor (destruction) from your Lord circled (destroyed totally) around the garden during the night while they were asleep.’” (68:19)
12ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُذْنِبُ الذَّنْبَ فَيُدْرَأُ عَنْهُ الرِّزْقُ وَتَلا هَذِهِ الآيَةَ إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّها مُصْبِحِينَ وَلإ؛آآّّ يَسْتَثْنُونَ فَطافَ عَلَيْها طائِفٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَهُمْ نائِمُونَ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from certain individuals of his people from abu al-Maghra’ from al-Halabi from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Do not behave as dimwitted ones; your ‘A’immah, recipients of divine supreme covenant, have not been dimwitted people.’ Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has also said, ‘Whoever deals with a dimwitted person in a reciprocal manner is as if he has agreed to what he has faced and has behaved similarly (followed the footsteps of the dimwitted person).”’

لا تَسْفَهُوا فَإِنَّ أَئِمَّتَكُمْ لَيْسُوا بِسُفَهَاءَ وَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) مَنْ كَافَأَ السَّفِيهَ بِالسَّفَهِ فَقَدْ رَضِيَ بِمَا أَتَى إِلَيْهِ حَيْثُ احْتَذَى مِثَالَهُ.

1. Muhammad ibn ‘Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from and Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar all from Safwan ibn Yahya from ibn Muskan from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one fasting vomits, one is required to make Qada’ (compensatory fast for) that day; and if one feels nausea but does not vomit, one must complete the fast.’”
1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ وَأَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ جَمِيعاً عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِذَا تَقَيَّأَ الصَّائِمُ فَعَلَيْهِ قَضَاءُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَإِنْ ذَرَعَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَتَقَيَّأَ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ.

“Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.) has said, ‘Signs of perfect religion of a Muslim are his restraining from speaking things that do not concern him, his reduced disagreement, his forbearance, patience and his excellent moral behavior.’”
34ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَلادٍ الْحَنَّاطِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيهِما السَّلام) يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْمَعْرِفَةَ بِكَمَالِ دِينِ الْمُسْلِمِ تَرْكُهُ الْكَلامَ فِيمَا لا يَعْنِيهِ وَقِلَّةُ مِرَائِهِ وَحِلْمُهُ وَصَبْرُهُ وَحُسْنُ خُلُقِهِ.

11. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Yahya ibn al-Mubarak from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“There had never been, there is no one and will never be a believer but that a neighbor causes him suffering. Even if a believer may live on an island Allah sends someone to cause him suffering.”
11ـ سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ جَبَلَةَ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَا كَانَ وَلا يَكُونُ وَلَيْسَ بِكَائِنٍ مُؤْمِنٌ إِلا وَلَهُ جَارٌ يُؤْذِيهِ وَلَوْ أَنَّ مُؤْمِناً فِي جَزِيرَةٍ مِنْ جَزَائِرِ الْبَحْرِ لابْتَعَثَ الله لَهُ مَنْ يُؤْذِيهِ.

47. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hassan ibn Sayf from his brother from his father from abu Hamza from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most High. “. . your ideas are confused (51:8). Let whoever wishes, turn away from it (Wilaya, Leadership with Divine Authority) (Our Quran).” (51:9) The Imam (a.s.) said
“whoever would turn away from Wilaya, (Leadership with Divine Authority) he has turned away from paradise.”

مَنْ أُفِكَ عَنِ الْوَلايَةِ أُفِكَ عَنِ الْجَنَّةِ.

11. [11/109] al-Kafi: Muhammad b. Yahya from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Isa from Muhammad b. Isa from Mansur [b. Hazim] from Hisham b. Salim from Abi Abdillah عليه السلام who said
the termination of the orphanhood of the orphan is by nocturnal emission and it is considered his maturity, however if he begins to have nocturnal emissions but signs of intellectual maturity are not detected from him such that he is foolhardy or mentally incapacitated then his guardian withholds from handing over his wealth to him.

Hadith.2080 - It is narrated from Safwan ibn Yahya, from Ishaq ibn Ammar, who said
"I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about Zakat al-Fitr. Imam (as) said: 'Once you have set it aside, it does not harm you when you give it, whether before or after the prayer.' Imam (as) also said: 'It is obligatory for you to give Zakat al-Fitr on behalf of yourself, your father, your mother, your children, your wife, and your servant.'"
2080 - وَ رَوَى صَفْوَانُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلْفِطْرَةِ قَالَ «إِذَا عَزَلْتَهَا فَلاَ يَضُرُّكَ مَتَى مَا أَعْطَيْتَهَا قَبْلَ اَلصَّلاَةِ أَوْ بَعْدَهَا » وَ قَالَ «اَلْوَاجِبُ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ تُعْطِيَ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ وَ أَبِيكَ وَ أُمِّكَ وَ وَلَدِكَ وَ اِمْرَأَتِكَ وَ خَادِمِكَ ».

1. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Sa’d bin Abdullah, from Ahmad bin Muhammed bin Isa, from Abbas bin Ma’ruf, from Safwan bin Yahya, from Ibn Maskan, from Muhammed bin Muslim, that he said
I said to Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him: «Cruel, moreover, a bastard.» (68:13) He said: The great cruelty is disbelief, and the villainous is the one who wantons with his disbelief.
أبي - رحمه الله - قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن العباس بن معروف، عن صفوان بن يحيى، عن ابن مسكان، عن محمد بن مسلم، قال
قلت لأبي عبد الله عليه السلام: " عتل بعد ذلك زنيم " قال: العتل العظيم الكفر، والزنيم المستهتر بكفره .

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from Safwan from Shu’ayb al-‘Aqarqufiy form abu Basir who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who wants to go to Makkah or al- Madinah and dislikes to carry arms with him. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful to carry arms when leaving his town but when entering Makkah he must not allow it to come into view.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ الْعَقَرْقُوفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُرِيدُ مَكَّةَ أَوِ الْمَدِينَةَ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ مَعَهُ بِالسِّلاحِ فَقَالَ لا بَأْسَ بِأَنْ يَخْرُجَ بِالسِّلاحِ مِنْ بَلَدِهِ وَلَكِنْ إِذَا دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ لَمْ يُظْهِرْهُ.

1. My father (RA) said: Muhammad ibn Yahya al-`Attar said: Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn `Isa said, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Abu `Umayr on the authority of Muhammad ibn Hukaym that
I asked Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq (AS): “What is the origin of recognition?” He (AS) answered, “It is entirely from Allah, the Mighty and High. The servants do not have any part in it.”

One of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘
He must stand by his condition.’”
5- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ عَلاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيْهِما السَّلام) فِي الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ لِعَبْدِهِ أُعْتِقُكَ عَلَى أَنْ أُزَوِّجَكَ ابْنَتِي فَإِنْ تَزَوَّجْتَ أَوْ تَسَرَّيْتَ عَلَيْهَا فَعَلَيْكَ مِائَةُ دِينَارٍ فَأَعْتَقَهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَتَسَرَّى أَوْ تَزَوَّجَ قَالَ
عَلَيْهِ شَرْطُهُ.

“They wanted to sell the dates of ‘ Ayn of abu Ziyad (name of a place with farms that belonged to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.)), and I wanted to buy it but then I decided to ask permission from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), so I asked Mu‘adh and he asked him (the Imam) about it and he (the Imam) said, ‘He can buy it because if he does not buy it someone else will buy it.’”
5- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ قَالَ
أَرَادُوا بَيْعَ تَمْرِ عَيْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَشْتَرِيَهُ ثُمَّ قُلْتُ حَتَّى أَسْتَأْمِرَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فَأَمَرْتُ مُعَاذاً فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ قُلْ لَهُ يَشْتَرِيهِ فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ لَمْ يَشْتَرِهِ اشْتَرَاهُ غَيْرُهُ.
