“One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has stated this Hadith. ‘Of the two issues whichever comes first, it marks the end of her waiting period: one is passing of three months in which she does not see Hayd (menses), thus her waiting period ends. If three Hayd-free periods pass this also marks the end of her waiting period.’”
