عمرو بن دينار المكي: عده الشيخ في أصحاب الباقر عليه السلام (58)، قائلا: " عمرو بن دينار المكي أحد أئمة التابعين، وكان فاضلا، عالما، ثقة ". كذا في النسخة المطبوعة، وبقية النسخ خالية عن ذكره. ونقل السيد التفريشي والميرزا، عن رجال ابن داود أنه ذكره عن رجال الشيخ، كما في الرجال المطبوع، ولكن رجال ابن داود خال عن التوثيق، ذكره في (1099) من القسم الأول. ويؤيد خلوه عن التوثيق في رجال الشيخ، أن العلامة لم يتعرض له، وإلا كان عليه أن يذكره في القسم الأول، وعلى كل حال فلم يظهر لنا معنى جملة (أنه أحد الأئمة)، فإن الرجل ليس من المعاريف، لا عند الخاصة ولا عند العامة. وكيف كان، فقد عده الشيخ في أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام (376)، قائلا: " عمرو بن دينار، مولى ابن بازان المكي، تابعي ".
