Hadith.2875 - Wahb ibn Abd Rabbih said to Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as): "Can a man perform Hajj on behalf of a Nasibi (one who harbors enmity toward the Ahlulbayt)?" Imam (as) replied: "No." I said: "What if it was my father?" Imam (as) said: "If it was your father, then perform Hajj on his behalf."

Is it permissible for him to nullify her Ihram and have intercourse with her before entering Ihram himself?" Imam (as) replied: "Yes."

I saw Abu Abdillah (as) using a toothpick, so I looked at him. Imam (as) said: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) used a toothpick, and it purifies the mouth."

Everything in this book that is narrated from Shihab ibn Abd Rabbih has been transmitted by me from my father - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Sad ibn Abdullah, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, from Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub, from Shihab ibn Abd Rabbih.

"She has no choice regarding the slave. She remains a slave belonging to the heirs."

Hadith.2370 - Shihab ibn Abd Rabbihi narrated: "I said to Abu Abdullah (as): 'I partake in Suhoor with chicks brought from outside Mecca, which are slaughtered in the Sacred Sanctuary, and I partake in Suhoor with them.' Imam (as) replied: 'What an evil Suhoor is your Suhoor! Do you not know that whatever you bring into the Sacred Sanctuary alive becomes forbidden for you to slaughter and to retain?'"

I said to Abu Abdullah (as): "You know my situation, my financial capacity, and how I spend generously on my brothers. Sometimes I accompany a group of them on the road to Mecca and provide generously for them." Imam (as) said: "Do not do that, O Shihab. If you are generous and they are generous as well, you will burden them. And if they withhold, you will humiliate them. Instead, travel with those who are your equals. Travel with those who are your equals."

I asked him about a man who had a slave woman (umm walad) and her child from him died. He then married her to another man, and she bore him a child. Later, that man died, and she returned to her original master. I asked: "Does he have the right to be intimate with her before marrying her?" Imam (as) said: "He cannot be intimate with her until she completes the waiting period (iddah) for the deceased husband, which is four months and ten days. After that, he may be intimate with her through ownership without marriage." I asked: "What about her child from the husband?" Imam (as) said: "If the deceased husband left wealth, the child should be bought for its value and then freed, and the child would inherit. If he left no wealth, the child remains with its mother in the same condition."

I heard Imam (as) say that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (swt) (may Allah (swt) bless him and his family) asking for help. The Messenger of Allah (swt) (may Allah (swt) bless him and his family) said: "Who has a loan (to give)?" One of the Muslims said: "I have." So the Prophet (may Allah (swt) bless him and his family) said: "Give him four wasqs of dates." The man gave him the dates. Later, the man came back to the Messenger of Allah (swt) (may Allah (swt) bless him and his family) asking for repayment. The Prophet (sw) said: "It will be provided, and I will give it to you." He returned again, and the Prophet (sw) said: "It will be provided, and I will give it to you." He came back once more, and the Prophet (sw) repeated: "It will be provided, and I will give it to you." The man then said: "You have asked too much, O Messenger of Allah (swt)." The Prophet (may Allah (swt) bless him and his family) laughed and said: "Who has a loan (to give)?" A man stood up and said: "I have." The Prophet (sw) asked: "How much do you have?" He said: "As much as you wish." The Prophet (sw) said: "Give him eight wasqs." The man said: "I only owe four." The Prophet (may Allah (swt) bless him and his family) replied: "And four more as well."
