شجرة بن ميمون: ابن أبي أراكة النبال: ثقة، روى عن أبي جعفر، وأبي عبد الله (عليهما السلام)، ذكره النجاشي في ترجمة ابنه علي بن شجرة. وعده الشيخ في رجاله (تارة) من أصحاب الباقر (عليه السلام) (1)، قائلا: " شجرة أخو بشير النبال "، و (أخرى) من أصحاب الصادق (عليه السلام) (20)، قائلا: " شجرة بن ميمون أبي أراكة النبال الوابشي، مولاهم الكوفي ". وعده البرقي أيضا في أصحاب الباقر والصادق (عليهما السلام)، وتقدم مدحه في رواية محمد بن زيد الشحام، في ترجمة بشر بن ميمون. ثم إن صريح النجاشي أن أبا أراكة والد ميمون، وصريح الشيخ في ترجمة بشر وظاهره هنا، أن أبا أراكة كنية ميمون نفسه، ولا يبعد أن تكون زيادة كلمة (ابن) في كلام النجاشي من سهو القلم أو من زيادة النساخ.
