Imam Ali (AS) said, None is humble except the lofty.

Imam Ali (AS) said, The excellence of obedience makes one attain lofty stations.

Imam Ali (AS) said, How many an elevated person has been degraded by the ugliness of his ineptitude!

Imam Ali (AS) said, Verily if you keep away from vices you will attain elevated ranks.

Imam Ali (AS) said, Purify your souls from the filth of lustful desires and you will attain lofty stations.

Imam Ali (AS) said, In describing the religion of Islam [he (‘a) said]: It is the brightest of all paths, the clearest [and most illuminated] of all passages; it is an elevated land, [with] a lofty peak.

Imam Ali (AS) said, You must cling to religion, piety and certitude, for these are the best of virtues and through them the lofty stations are attained.

And among them Abdullah bin Jundab Bajali he was the representative of Abu Ibrahim Imam Kadhim (a.s) and Abul Hasan Imam Ridha (a.s) and as mentioned in reports, he was a pious gentleman and he held a position of great respect in the view of those two Imams.

It is the most bright of all paths, the clearest of all passages. It has dignified minarets, bright highways, burning lamps, prestigious field of activity, and high objective. It has a collection of race horses. It is approached eagerly. Its riders are honourable. Certification (of Allāh, Prophet etc.) is its way, good deeds are its minarets, death is its extremity, this world is its race-course, the Day of Judgement is its horses and Paradise is its point of approach.

565. Aban, from Abu Baseer, who said the following: Abu Abdullah (asws) has said: ‘Once the Rasool Allah (saww) was in the Masjid, when every high thing was lowered for him (saww) and every low thing was raised for him (saww), to the extent that he (saww) saw Ja’far (as) fighting the infidels. He (as) got killed. So the Messenger (saww) said: ‘Ja’far has been killed’, and a severe pain struck him (as) in his (saww) stomach’.

It consists of columns whose bases Allāh has fixed in truthfulness and whose foundation He has strengthened, and of sources whose streams are ever full of water and of lamps, whose flames are full of light, and of beacons with whose help travellers get guidance, and of signs through which a way is found to its highways and of watering places which provide water to those who come to them. Allāh has placed in Islam the height of His pleasure, the pinnacle of His pillars and the prominence of His obedience. Before Allāh, therefore, its columns are strong, its construction is lofty, its proofs are bright, its fires are aflame, its authority is strong, its beacons are high and its destruction is difficult. You should therefore honour it, follow it, fulfil its obligations and accord the position due to it.

`Umar said: Surely, I have never seen anyone more fitting to lead the people to the Book of Allah and the Sunna of His Prophet than him – meaning, `Ali b. Abi Talib (as).

Prophet (SA) said: Verily, among the angels of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, is an angel whose upper half is composed of fire, while its lower half is composed of ice. Neither does the fire melt ice, nor does the ice extinguish the fire. He stands calling with his high-pitched voice: “Glory be to Allah, who withholds the heat of this fire so that it does not melt this ice; and Glory be to Allah who withholds the coldness of this ice so that it does not extinguish this fire. O Allah! O Combiner of the Ice and fire! Unite the hearts of Your Believing Servants in Your Obedience.”

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said, “There is some red dust next to the head of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) which is the cure for every disease except death.” After we heard this Ḥadīth, we went to the Grave (of Ḥusain (a.s.)) and started digging (the area) next to the head of the grave. After digging an ell, about one dirham of red dust which looked like sand started to flow down from the direction of the head. We took it to Kūfah, mixed it (with water), and covered it. Then we started distributing it to people to cure their diseases.

“Allah, the Most Holy is Whose name, the Most High is Whose praise, the Most Glorious are Whose attributes. He is the Most Sacred, the Most Holy, the only One in oneness. He is eternal, the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden. There is no beginning for Him. He is the Most Exalted in His highness. The Highest in power, Exalted in authority, the greatest in kingdom, the Most bountiful, His Highness is the Most High. He is the One whose praise no one can complete, and can not bear the knowledge of His Lordship. No one is able to limit Him because it is not possible to reach Him with qualities.”

We were told by Abu Bakr bin Abi Shayba, that he said: We were told by Jarir bin Abdil-Hamid, from Abdul-Aziz bin Rafee’, from Abu Dhibyan, from Ibn Abbas, that he said: The Home of Peace is Paradise, and its people have safety from all plagues, blemishes, illnesses and sicknesses, and they have safety from aging, death and the changing of circumstances upon them. They are the dignified who will never be insulted, and they are the honored who will never be humiliated, and they are the rich who will never become poor, and they are rejoicing who will never become miserable, and they are the happy, the cheering, who will never be distressed or concerned, and they are the living who will never die. Hence, they are in palaces of gems and corals whose doors give path to the Throne of the Merciful to all. «The Angels will enter upon them from every door (saying): Peace be upon you for what you were patient. Thus, excellent is the final home (of yours).» (13:23-24)

“Allah is Great and High. People cannot describe Him nor can they reach the depth of His Greatness. ‘ No mortal eyes can see Him, but He can see all eyes. He is All-kind and All-aware.’” (6:103) He cannot be described by means of how and where. How can I describe Him by means of any condition? He Himself has created the conditions and how and so it came into being. We came to know conditions because of His designing them for us. How can I describe Him by means of space? It is He, Who spaced the space so it became space. I, thus, came to know space by means of what He has made it into space. How can I describe Him by means of positions when He Himself has given position to positions so it came into position. I, thus, came to know the position by means of what He has made to come into position. Allah, the Holy, the Most High, is in every place but is out of everything. ‘ No mortal eyes can see Him, but He can see all eyes. He is All-kind and All-aware.’” (6:103)

Hadith.4398 - When Abu Talib (as), may Allah (swt) have mercy upon him, arranged the marriage of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) to Khadijah bint Khuwaylid {s.a}, may Allah (swt) have mercy upon her, after proposing to her through her father, or as some say, through her uncle. Abu Talib (as), stood by the doorposts, addressing the gathering of Quraysh who were present. Abu Talib (as) began by praising Allah (swt), saying: "All praise is due to Allah (swt), who made us from the progeny of Ibrahim and the descendants of Isma'il, who established for us a sacred house that is frequented (by pilgrims) and a secure sanctuary to which the fruits of all things are brought. He (swt) has made us the rulers over the people in our land. My nephew, Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abdul-Muttalib (sw), cannot be compared to any man of Quraysh except that He (sw) surpasses them in virtue, nor can He (sw) be equated with anyone except that He (sw) holds greater honor than them. Though He (sw) may possess little wealth, wealth is merely a fleeting provision and a transient shade. He (sw) has an interest in Khadijah {s.a}, and she {s.a} has an interest in Him (as). The dowry, whether its immediate or deferred portion, will be paid from my wealth. He (sw) holds a great position, a lofty status, and an eloquent and persuasive tongue." Following this address, Khadijah {s.a} was married to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and He (sw) consummated the marriage the following day. The first child she {s.a} bore for Him (sw) was Abdullah ibn Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

Verily, Allah is the Most Great, and the Lofty [al-rafi`]. Worshippers cannot describe Him, nor can they reach the core of His Magnificence. Vision comprehends Him not, and He comprehends (all) vision; and He is the Subtle, the All-Aware. He cannot be described in terms of `how,’ `where’ and `when’. And how can I describe him by means of `how’ when it is He who created the condition for the question `how;’ hence, I recognized the condition by the fact that He created the `how.’ And how can I describe Him in terms of `where’ when it was He was created space; hence, I recognized space by the fact that he created the `where.’ And how can I describe him in terms of `when’ when it was he who created time; hence, I recognized time by the fact that He created time. Thus, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, is present in every place, and is absent from everything. Vision comprehends Him not, and He comprehends all vision. There is no god but He: the Most High, the Great. And He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware.

The lowest heaven is called Rafi’a made of smoke and water. The second heaven is called Faydoom and it is the same color as copper. The third heaven is called Maroom and it is the same color as brass. The fourth heaven is called Arfoloon and it is the same color as silver. The fifth heaven is called Hayoon and it is the same color as gold. The sixth heaven is called Aroos and it is the same color as green chrysolite. The seventh heaven is called Ajma and it is the same color as a white pearl.’”This has been a part of a longer narration. Only a part of it has been presented here as needed.
