أبو إسحاق السبيعي: وقع بهذا العنوان في إسناد جملة من الروايات، تبلغ أربعة عشر موردا. فقد روى عن الحارث، والحارث الأعور، وعمرو بن خالد. وروى عنه أبو حمزة، وأبو وكيع، وإسرائيل بن يونس، والحسن بن عمارة، وسفيان بن سعيد، وعمرو بن ثابت، عن رجل سماه، وغرة بن دينار الرقي. ثم إنه روى الكليني بسنده، عن زهير، عن أبي إسحاق السبيعي، عن عاصم بن حمزة السلولي. الكافي: الجزء 7، كتاب القضاء والاحكام 6، باب النوادر 19، الحديث 6. ورواها الشيخ في التهذيب: الجزء 6، باب من الزيادات في القضايا والاحكام، الحديث 849، إلا أن فيه: عاصم بن ضمرة السلولي، وهو الموافق لما في الوافي والوسائل، وفي النسخة المخطوطة من التهذيب: عاصم بن أبي حمزة السلولي. أقول: أبو إسحاق السبيعي هذا، إما هو عمرو بن عبد الله بن علي المتقدم، فإن كنيته: أبو إسحاق السبيعي، أو أبو إسحاق السبيعي بن كليب الآتي.
