"For the lower lip, the compensation is six thousand (dirhams), and for the upper lip, it is four thousand (dirhams) because the lower lip holds water."

‘‘In response to a Jew or Christian You should say, ‘ Salam ’, meaning peace be upon us or whoever deserves it.”

“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about the case of a man who shoots a prey and hits it. People before him come and interrupt him. He (the Imam) said, ‘He can use it for food.”’

The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: On the Day of Judgment, I will intercede for those who have come to my Ziyārah.

“About the case of a man who gives something in charity if he can inherit it, one of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘Yes, he can do so.’”

“About the words of Allah: ‘Complete al-Hajj and al-‘Umrah for the sake of Allah’ (2:196) abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that they are obligatory.”

Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: There are four thousand angels by the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) who are disheveled and covered with dust. They cry over him (and will continue to do so) until the Day of Judgment. Their chief is an angel named Mansūr. These angels receive everyone who comes to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) and they accompany them when they bid farewell to Ḥusain (a.s.). They visit them if they become ill and they establish prayers on them at their funerals when they die and seek forgiveness for them after their death.

Abu `Abdillah al-Sadiq (as) said: Four thousand angels came down to fight alongside al-Husayn b. `Ali (as), but they were not permitted to fight. So, they went back to seek permission, and they came down [again], but al-Husayn (as) had been killed. So, they are at his grave, disheveled and weeping, until the Day of Resurrection. Their chief is an angel called Mansur (the victorious one).

When the first silver coin and gold coin hit the ground, Iblis looked to them. When he observed them, he took them and placed them on his eyes. Then, he embraced them to his chest. Then, he screamed. Then, he embraced them to his chest. Then, he said: You two are the joy of my eye and the fruit of my heart. I would not mind if the Children of Adam loved you instead of worshiping idols. For me, it is sufficient for the Children of Adam to love you.

1 – Abān b. Abī ʿAyyāsh, Abī ʿAyyāsh’s name is Fayrūz. A tābiʿī, he narrated from Anas b. Mālik. And he narrated from ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn عليهما السلام . Weak, he is not to be turned to. Our companions ascribe to him the fabrication of the book of Sulaym b. Qays.

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about a man who performs the morning Salah (prayer) during the night mistakenly because of moon light and then goes to sleep until sunrise and he then is informed of having performed his morning Salah (prayer) during the night, has said, ‘He must perform it again.’”

“I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘One who is in a hurry may perform Salah (prayer) of Ja‘far without Tasbihat, then perform Qada’ (compensatory prayer for) them when walking (or working) for his needs.’”

The Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, said: Manliness is to seek rectification of property.

The witness is Friday, that which is to be witnessed is the Day of Arafah and that which is promised is the Day of Resurrection.

"Regarding a child who grows up and chooses Christianity while one of his parents is a Christian or both of them are Muslims, he is not to be left (in that state), but rather he is compelled to follow Islam."

"If the claimant presents evidence, then no oath is required from him. However, if he does not present evidence and the defendant offers to take an oath, but the claimant refuses, then he has no right to his claim."

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When a child grows five Ashbar (span of the hand) it is not unlawful to use for food what he has slaughtered.’”

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the pebbles that I find with me after coming out of the Masjid. He (the Imam) said, ‘Return them or throw in the Masjid.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one in the state of Ihram suffers from illness in the eyes it is permissible for one to use kohl which does not have musk or perfume in it.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is preferable for al-Sarura (one who performs al-Hajj for the first time) to walk on al-Mash‘ar al-Haram (name of a place) and enter the House. ’’’(Fatwa best explains Hadith 2-3 of this Chapter.)
