زيد بن محمد بن جعفر، المعروف بابن أبي الياس الكوفي، روى عنه التلعكبري، قال: قدم علينا بغداد ونزل في نهر البزازين، سمع منه سنة ثلاثين و ثلاثمائة وله منه إجازة، وكان له كتاب الفضائل، روى عنه الحسن بن علي بن الحسن الدينوري العلوي، روى عن علي بن الحسين بن بابويه.

Known as Ibn Abi al-Abbas al-Kufi. Al-Talkankari narrated from him. He said he came to us in Baghdad and stayed in Nahr al-Bazzazin. I heard from him in the year 330 and he gave me an ijazah.

زيد بن محمد: ابن جعفر، المعروف بابن أبي إلياس الكوفي: روى عنه التلعكبري قال: قدم علينا بغداد ونزل في نهر البزازين، سمع منه سنة ثلاثين وثلاثمائة وله منه إجازة، وكان له كتاب الفضائل، روى عنه الحسن بن علي بن الحسن الدينوري العلوي، روى عنه علي بن الحسين بن بابويه. رجال الشيخ في من لم يرو عنهم عليهم السلام (3). أقول: إن جعفرا جد زيد هذا هو ابن المبارك، ذكره النجاشي في ترجمة أبي رافع.
