حماد النوا: الكوفي: من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، رجال الشيخ (145)، وذكره ثانيا (293)، وقال: روى عنه ابن فضال، وعده البرقي في أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام وقال: روى عنه عبد الله بن مسكان. قال المجلسي في بيان طريق الصدوق: إنه ممدوح. وقال الوحيد في التعليقة: روى عنه ابن فضال لعل فيه إيماء إلى اعتداد ما به. أقول: ظهر مما ذكرناه غير مرة أنه لا وجه للحكم بحسنه والاعتداد به. وكيف كان فطريق الصدوق إليه: محمد بن علي ماجيلويه (رضي الله عنه)، عن عمه محمد بن أبي القاسم، عن أبيه، عن محمد بن خالد البرقي، عن محمد ابن سنان، عن ابن مسكان، عن حماد النوا، والطريق ضعيف. روى عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام. الفقيه: الجزء 2، باب ما يجوز الاحرام فيه وما لا يجوز، الحديث 977.
