1. Amirul Momineen (a.s.) narrates that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “The best among you are those who offer Qasr prayer and do not observe fast during travel.”

Everything in this book that is narrated from Isa ibn Abdullah Al-Hashimi has been transmitted by me from Muhammad ibn Musa ibn Al-Mutawakkil - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Yahya Al-Attar, from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn ibn Abi Al-Khattab, from Muhammad ibn Abi Abdullah, from Isa ibn Abdullah ibn Ali ibn Umar ibn Ali ibn Al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib - peace be upon them.

“No, a time will come when the responsibility of Azaan and Iqamah will be entrusted only to weak and helpless people. Hence the fire of Hell is made unlawful on their weak flesh.”

Saying the Earth has been created for seven persons is not meant from the first day of creation until the last day of creation. Rather its intention is that those who said prayer over Fatima’s corpse will benefit from the Earth.”

God’s Prophet (MGB) disliked eating five parts of sheep: the spleen; the penis; the balls; the vagina; and the corners of the heart.”

“I swear by God - the One that has no substitute to be worshipped - who made charity illegal for us that He has established the one-fifth levy for us. Therefore, giving charity to us is forbidden, giving the alms to us is obligatory, and giving gifts to us is allowed.”

When Fatima, peace be upon her, was about to demise, she called to me and said: Are you to fulfill my testament and oath? He said: I said: Sure, I will fulfill it. She then bequeathed to me and said: If I die, then bury me at night, and do not give permission to two men whom she mentioned. He said: Then, when her illness severed, the women of the Muhajirun and the Ansar gathered to her and said: How have you become this morning, O daughter of Allah’s Messenger, from your illness? She said: I have become at this morning, by Allah, one who will leave this world of yours. He then mentioned the narration, similar to it.

This is all yours.' Adam said: 'My Lord (azj), what is this radiant, white land?' Allah (swt) replied: 'This is My sanctuary on My earth, and I have made it incumbent upon you to circumambulate it seven hundred times every day.'"

It is atonement for his parents.”

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: O Allah, have mercy on my vicegerents (khulafa’i) – three times. It was said: O Messenger of Allah! Who are your vicegerents? He said: Those who convey my narrations and my Sunna, then teach them to my Nation.

The Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, said with regards to the saying of Him, Exalted and Glorious is He: «And when the son of Mariam gave an example, your people suddenly chortled.» (43:57) He said: Chortling in Arabic is to laugh.

I asked the Messenger of Allah (s) about the man who sleeps and then dreams. So sometimes it is true and sometimes it is false. The Messenger of Allah (s) said: O `Ali! There is no servant who sleeps but that he is raised with his spirit towards the Lord of the worlds. So, what he sees near the Lord of the worlds is the truth. Then when Allah, the Mighty, the Omnipotent orders with the return of his spirit to his body, the spirit is between the heaven and the Earth. So, what it sees [then] are confused dreams.

“The master of this matter (deliverance) will be from my progeny. It is he, about whom it will be said: Has he died or perished? Or which valley has he followed?”

“About the meaning of the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, ‘We sent water from the sky in measures and placed it on earth and We have the power to take it away,’ (23:18) abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It means canyons and ravines.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the site of al-Ka‘bah was a white mount of land that shone like the sun and moon until one of the sons of Adam killed the other son of Adam, and thereafter it turned black. When Adam descended, Allah then raised the whole earth for him until he saw it. He then said, ‘This is all for you. He then asked, ‘Lord, what is this white land that shines?’ He replied, ‘That is (in) My land. I have made it obligatory upon you to walk around it seven hundred times every day.’”

“I said to abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.). “If something would happen (death of Imam), may Allah will not make me experience it, then who must I follow as my Imam?” The narrator has said that he pointed to his son Musa (a.s.). I then asked, “What if something will happen to Musa (a.s.) then who must I follow as my Imam?” The Imam (a.s.) said, “Follow his sons. Then he said, “In this way for ever.” I then asked, “What if I will not know him and will not know his place?” The Imam (a.s.) said, “Say, ‘O Lord, I love and take as my guardian whoever is left (on earth) as your authority of the sons of the preceding Imam. This will be enough for you if Allah would so will.”

There are four Heavenly rivers: The Euphrates, the Nile, Sihran and Jehran. The Euphrates provides water in this world and the Hereafter. The Nile provides honey. Sehran provides wine and Jehran provides milk.”

The Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family: O Allah, have mercy upon my successors. O Allah, have mercy upon my successors. O Allah, have mercy upon my successors. It was said to him: O Messenger of Allah, and who are your successors? He said: Those who will come after me, narrate my narration and my tradition.

“Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘Whoever offers condolences to a sorrowful person due to the death of his son, Allah will provide him shadow (protection) from His throne on the Day when there will be no shadow except His shadow.’”

Is his (asws) son (asws) a knowledgeable one?’ So it was said to him, ‘This is your first ignorance. And have they (asws) ever been without a knowledgeable one?’ He said, ‘So who is their (asws) knowledgeable one today?’ It was said, ‘Muhammad (asws) Bin Ali (asws) Bin Al-Husayn Bin Ali (asws)’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So he rode over to him (asws) with the brave ones of his companions until he came up to Al-Medina. So he sought permission to see Abu Ja’far (asws). It was said to him (asws), ‘This is Abdullah Bin Naf’a’. He (asws) said; ‘So what has he to do with me (asws), and he ‘يَبْرَأُ’ distances himself (Tabarra) from me (asws) and from my (asws) father (asws) both morning and evening’. Abu Baseer Al-Kufy said to him (asws), ‘May I be sacrificed for you (asws), this one alleges that, ‘‘If only I knew someone between its (earth’s) diameter where my animal (ride) can reach to, who can debate with me that Ali (asws) killed the people of Naharwaan, and he (asws) was not unjust to them, I would ride over to him (to refute)’. So Abu Ja’far (asws) said to him: ‘You think he has come to me (asws) for a debate?’ He said, ‘Yes’. He (asws) said: ‘O boy (servant), go out and unload his saddlebag, and tell him to come to us (asws) tomorrow’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So when it was the next day, Abdullah Bin Naf’a came with the brave ones of his companions, and Abu Ja’far (asws) sent a message to all the sons of the Emigrants and the Helpers and gathered them. Then he (asws) came out to the people wearing two alluring robes and faced the people as if he (asws) was the moon in orbit. So he (asws) said: ‘The Praise is due to Allah (azwj), the Awarder of the positions, and the Attribute of the attributes, and the Director of the directions. The Praise is due to Allah (azwj) “[2:255] slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His” up to the end of the Verse. ‘And I (asws) testify that there is no god except for Allah (azwj), One, with no associates to Him (azwj). And I (asws) testify that Muhammad (saww) is His (azwj) servant, Chosen by Him (azwj) and Guided by Him (azwj) to be on the Straight Path. The Praise is due to Allah (azwj) Who Honoured us (asws) with the Prophet-hood and Favoured us by Al-Wilayah. O group of the sons of the Emigrants and the Helpers! The ones among you who have merits regarding Ali (asws) Bin Abu Talib (asws), so he should stand and narrate them’. So the people stood up, so they enumerated those merits. Abdullah said, ‘I am a narrator of these merits from them, but, subsequently the disbelief took place after the appointment of the two judges’. Then they ended up with the merits in the Hadeeth of Khyber: ‘I (saww) shall give the flag tomorrow to a man who loves Allah (azwj) and His (azwj) Messenger (saww), and Allah (azwj) and His (azwj) Messenger (saww) love him (asws). An attacking one, not a fleeing one who will not return until Allah (azwj) Grants victory upon his (asws) hands’. So Abu Ja’far (asws) said; ‘What do you say regarding this Hadeeth’. He said, ‘True. There is no doubt with regards to it, but disbelief took place afterwards’. So Abu Ja’far (asws) said to him: ‘May your mother be bereft of you! Inform me (asws) about Allah (azwj) Loving Ali (asws) Bin Abu Talib (asws) on the Day He (azwj) Loved him (asws) and He (azwj) Knew that he (asws) would be killing the people of Nahrwan, or did He (azwj) not Know?’ Ibn Naf’a said, ‘Repeat that for me’. So Abu Ja’far (asws) said to him: ‘Inform me (asws) about Allah (azwj), He (azwj) Loved Ali (asws) on the day that He (azwj) Loved him (asws), and He (azwj) Knew that he (asws) would be killing the people of Nahrwan, or did He (azwj) not Know?’ He said, ‘If I say, ‘No’, I would have blasphemed’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So he said, ‘He (azwj) had Known’. He (asws) said: ‘So did Allah (azwj) Love Ali (asws) to act in obedience to Him (azwj) or in disobedience to Him (azwj)?’ He (asws) said; ‘Upon his (asws) acting in obedience to Him (azwj)’. So Abu Ja’far (asws) said to him: ‘So stand up (and leave) for you have been defeated’. He stood up and he was saying, ‘Until the white thread becomes distinct from the black thread at dawn, Allah (azwj) Knows where He (azwj) should Make His (azwj) Message to be’.
