1. We were told by Muhammed bin Hasan bin Ahmad bin Waleed, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: We were told by Muhammed bin Hasan al-Saffar, from Abbas bin Ma’ruf, from Hussain bin Yazid al-Nawfali, from Ya’qoubi, from Isa bin Abdullah al-Hashimi, from his father, from his grandfather, that he said
The Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, said with regards to the saying of Him, Exalted and Glorious is He: «And when the son of Mariam gave an example, your people suddenly chortled.» (43:57) He said: Chortling in Arabic is to laugh.
