“He (the Imam) has said that the Messenger of Allah, once said, ‘You must treat bread with reverence.’ It was asked, ‘What is its reverence?’ He (the Messenger of Allah) said, ‘When it is made available one must not wait for others.’ The Messenger of Allah has said that of treating it with reverence is not to step on it or cut it.’”

“In this Quran is the lighthouse of guidance and torches for dankness. One must brighten his eyes and open them in such light; thinking is life for the seeing eyes just as light helps one walking in the dark.”

“The Imams mentioned in the book of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, are of two kinds. Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High has said, ‘We appointed them as leaders (Imams) to guide the people through Our command . .” (21:73) They do so but not because of the commads of the people. They allow our command to come first and before their own orders, and our laws before their own laws and judgment. “We made them the kinds of leaders (Imams) who would invite people to the fire . .” (28:41) ‘They let their own commands to come before the commands of Allah and their laws before the laws of Allah. They follow their desires against what the book of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High requires.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Every one of things the Messenger of Allah liked from this world was associated with suffering, hunger or fear.’”

“This is a narration of abu ‘Abd Allah, Ja’far ibn Muhammad (a.s.), from the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause. He (the Messenger of Allah) has said, ‘I gave a boy to my aunt and prohibited her from making him a butcher, cupping person or a jewelry carver.’”

“This world appeared to ʿĪsā (a) in the for of a blue-eyed woman. He asked her, ‘How many have you married?’ She said, ‘Many.’ He asked, ‘Did you divorce them all?’ She said, ‘Rather, I killed them all!’ He said, ‘Then woe to your remaining spouses! How can they not take lesson from those who have passed?’” Abū ʿAbdillāh (a) [then] said, “The example of this world is like the salty sea – every time a thirsty person drinks from it, it increases his thirst, until it kills him.”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the pagans attacked the pasture area of al-Madinah and an announcer announced, ‘How bad is this morning!’ The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, heard it when among people with horses. He rode his horse in pursuit of the enemy. The first of his companions who reached him was abu Qatadah on his horse. Both sides of the saddle of the horse of the Messenger of Allah were made of palm tree fibers and it was not fanciful at all. They searched the enemy but did not find anyone and the group of people on horses came one after the other. Abu Qatadah said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, the enemy has turned back; if you consider it proper allow us to race our horses for a contest.’ He said, ‘That is fine.’ They raced and the Messenger of Allah became the winner among them. He then turned to them and said, ‘I am the descendent of ‘Awatik, three women from Quraysh called ‘Atikah.’ This is al-Jawad al-Bahr (fine horse of the sea that runs in wide manner).”’

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Sinful and false oath turns the womb barren.’ I then asked him (the Imam) about the meaning of the Arabic word ‘TunghiV . He (the Imam) said that it means turning fruitless.”

“My father used to say that the first deed to be rewarded on the Day of Judgment is offering water as Sadaqah.”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Three things were given to the Prophets. They are perfumes, marriage and toothbrushes.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If the Imam is present, he is the most deserving of all people to perform Salah (prayer) for a deceased person.’”

The following four characteristics are from the traditions of the Messengers: perfumes, women , brushing and putting on Henna. ”

"The Messenger of Allah (sw) said, ‘One who allows sexual intercourse in his anus voluntarily and playfully, Allah throws lust of woman on him.‘"

from his ancestors: “Sharp shooting is an arrow of the arrows of al-Islam.”

Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "There is no compensation (Uqr) upon a fornicator, and there is no punishment upon a woman who was coerced (mukraha)."

"The adulterer should be beaten in the state in which they are found; if they are found unclothed, they are beaten while unclothed, and if they are found clothed, they are beaten while clothed."

”The Messenger of Allah (sw) would use dates to break his fast during the season of dates, or fresh dates during the season of fresh dates.”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is an established Sunnah that al-Jizyah is not received from those with physical or mental conditions?”

“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Allah hates those who divorce very often in big haste (like an epicure who keeps tasting this and that food).”’

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that he has read in the book of Ali (a.s.), that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, wrote the following in a letter for al-Muhajirun, al- Ansar and those who join them from the people of Yathrib: ‘Every mobilization that is arranged for an armed confrontation must be continued step by step with legitimacy and justice among the Muslims. It is not permissible to start a war without the permission of the people (who will maintain it). The rights of neighbors are just like one’s soul that must be held harmless and sinless. The respect and honor of a neighbor is like the honor and respect of a mother and father. A believing person does not make peace just for himself, ignoring the other believer during a war for the cause of Allah, except on the basis of justice and equality.’”
