ثبيت بن محمد أبو محمد العسكري صاحب أبي عيسى الوراق، متكلم حاذق، من أصحابنا العسكريين، وكان أيضا له اطلاع بالحديث والرواية والفقه. له كتب، منها: كتاب توليدات بني أمية في الحديث وذكر الاحاديث الموضوعة - والكتاب الذي يعزى إلى ابي عيسى الوراق في نقض العثمانية له - وكتاب الاسفار، ودلائل الائمة عليهم السلام.

The companion of Abu Isa al-Warraq. A skilled theologian (mutakallim), from our Askari companions. He also had knowledge of Hadith, narration, and Fiqh. He has books, including: 'The Generations of the Umayyads in Hadith and the Mention of Fabricated Hadiths' - 'The Book Attributed to Abu Isa al-Warraq in Refutation of the Uthmaniyya' is his - 'The Book of Journeys' (al-Asfar), and 'Proofs of the Imams' peace be upon them.

ثبيت بن محمد: قال النجاشي: " ثبيت بن محمد، أبو محمد العسكري، صاحب أبي عيسى الوراق، متكلم، حاذق، من أصحابنا العسكريين، وكان أيضا له اطلاع بالحديث والرواية، والفقه، له كتب، منها: كتاب توليدات بني أمية في الحديث، وذكر الأحاديث الموضوعة، والكتاب الذي يعزى إلى أبي عيسى الوراق في نقض العثمانية له، وكتاب الاسفار ودلايل الأئمة (عليهم السلام) ". وعده العلامة وابن داود في القسم الأول، ولعله مبني على أصالة العدالة.
