Hadith 878

3. Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) narrates that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “Keep away from taking false oaths because it causes the cities to become vacant of its residents.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْقُرَشِیِّ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ وَزِیرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ فُرَاتٍ خَالِ حَمَّادٍ الصَّیْرَفِیِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص إِیَّاکُمْ وَ الْیَمِینَ [الصَّبْرَ] الْفَاجِرَهَ فَإِنَّهَا تَدَعُ الدِّیَارَ بَلَاقِعَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا.
