Hadith 541

17. It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “
Giving Sadaqah with hand keeps away unpleasant death. It keeps away seventy types of calamities and opens Satanic mouths all stopping the person from giving Sadaqah.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ الصَّدَقَهُ بِالْیَدِ تَدْفَعُ مِیتَهَ السَّوْءِ وَ تَدْفَعُ سَبْعِینَ نَوْعاً مِنَ الْبَلَاءِ وَ تُفَکُّ عَنْ لُحِیِّ سَبْعِینَ شَیْطَاناً کُلُّهُمْ یَأْمُرُونَ أَنْ لَا تَفْعَلْ.
