Hadith 531

7. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “Allah keeps away from sorrow, wild animals and unpleasant death one who gives charity during the day or night.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَزْرَجِ عَنْ فُضَیْلِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
مَنْ تَصَدَّقَ فِی یَوْمٍ أَوْ لَیْلَهٍ إِنْ کَانَ یَوْمٌ فَیَوْمٌ وَ إِنْ کَانَ لَیْلَهٌ فَلَیْلٌ دَفَعَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَنْهُ الْهَمَّ وَ السَّبُعَ وَ مِیتَهَ السَّوْءِ.
