12. It was narrated to us by Muhammad b. Ibrahim who said it was narrated to us by Hamid b. Shu’aib who said it was narrated to us by Shurayh b. Yunis who said it was narrated to us by Wakee’ from Sufyan from Zayd b. Aslam who said
The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) was asked regarding the fast of Rajab. He replied, “Why don’t you care for the fasts of Shaban?”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ شُعَیْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُرَیْحُ بْنُ یُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِیعٌ عَنْ سُفْیَانَ عَنْ زَیْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص عَنْ صَوْمِ رَجَبٍ فَقَالَ أَیْنَ أَنْتُمْ عَنْ شَعْبَانَ.
