Hadith 1236

Hadith.4450 - Safwan ibn Yahya narrated from Abu Ja'far with reference to Mird'ah
I said to Abu Abdullah (as) about a man who married a woman based on her terms but then died before she made her decision (regarding the terms).
Imam (as) said: "She is not entitled to a dowry (sadaq), but she inherits from him."
4450 - وَ رَوَى صَفْوَانُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ بِمِرْدَعَةَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ رَجُلٌ تَزَوَّجَ اِمْرَأَةً بِحُكْمِهَا ثُمَّ مَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَحْكُمَ قَالَ "لَيْسَ لَهَا صَدَاقٌ وَ هِيَ تَرِثُ ".
